why cant you see the whole thread of your PM's..meaning when you respond to a PM then theres ongoing conversation you only see the one previous message and NOT the whole thread..

so if theres 5 responses from one person and you just pushed reply you wont be able to see all 5 just the one that you are responding to..

They're not coded to keep a thread of all of the replies like Facebook, Gmail, etc.  If you quote a message and the other person quotes back, you will see the previous messages, though.

Is personal message threading something you would like to see?  If so, I can move this over to the Suggestions board! Smiley

I would actually like to see that! It would be great for mod stuff and swap organizing....and just, you know, my general memory farts where I can't remember what the conversation was about.

Yepper!  I totally understand what you mean!  I'll bump this over to suggestions right now.  I have a feeling a few people will love the idea!

Thanks, smitten!

I have no idea how hard it would be to code... but I do think this would be awesome if possible.

I was just looking around here to suggest something similar! I'm getting knocked in my swap feedback for poor communication and most of it is I find the PM Inbox really hard to navigate. I wish we could either have the ability to group messages by labels or have the messages stay together in conversations like Gmail does. So often I'll get a swarm of PM's and the ones in the back get lost on page 3 or 4 and then forgotten about as I'm trying to navigate through page 5 and 6.  Undecided

The current inbox just isn't very ADD friendly   Roll Eyes

EDIT: Just figured out the labels feature.. well actually, what I wasn't doing was removing the inbox label from things. That helped so much! But the conversations feature would still be a big help Smiley

This would be really helpful to me.  (This and/or the ability to label outgoing messages.  Right now, my outgoing swap messages aren't together with the rest of the swap info, even if I've labeled those well.)
