Thanks,
Yes, they are, I called them "goth baby shoes" too.
But I think it scared  quite a lot of people off.
That's why now they are just "black and silver" Cheesy

I love these ones too

I thought they will be more like in Spanish style and I wanted to call them something like "Esmeralda" or "Karmelita" but people called them goth too   Sad

Okay, so now I really want to crochet like you!!  They remind me of  the mary janes our mothers used to make us wear as babies. (oops, i just outed my age).  I love the lacy look of the top, like baby socks.   Excellent.  Thumbs up.

Are you making them as gifts or for your own baby?  Because regardless of whether they are goth or spanish or anything else, they are beautiful and will look beautiful on any baby.  Little girls used to always wear black mary janes, so these would be perfect with a frilly little dress!

And great job too, I have respect for anyone who can complete a project in thread!!

I did once for my little boy for his Christening, not these ones, in boy's style and in white colour. But, yes, I do make them and as a gift too. Some people like to dress their reborn dolls in shoes like these

Hi, I quite seldom use patterns. I'm just lazy to read them... usually half I'm making up, half- just looking on the picture and try to repeat. But I think this book can help you

I think these are lovely! they should be starched and put under a glass box for viewing! Just lovely! Cheesy Great work! I like goth beauty, anything black, people tend to go to goth - just a description, the meaning has changed over time though. Wink

I think both pairs are elegant and lovely! Cheesy Keep creating! Cheesy I wanna see more! Wink
