Experimental Wavy Gravy Cowl/Scarf

i had some leftover lopi from the jayne cobb hats i've made, so i decided to use the Wavy Gravy pattern in stitch'n'bitch and experimented a bit. it's also my first time felting, and good lard, it can be frustrating! i put it in the wash about 4 times and for some reason it wouldn't felt all the way. but i still like how it turned out. i might go through it by hand later.

Wow, that looks great! Good idea.

I hope you get the results you want from the felting process. I've found that sometimes it takes a lot longer to get to the felt ideal. How are you doing it? I have found that throwing in some jeans and putting it in the dryer has helped. A lot of instructions say to never put anything felty in the dryer, but I say "instructions be damned".

heh, yep...i threw in some jeans and did the dryer thing. but i recently learned that felting garter sts are a lot of work and a bit time-consuming.
