I'm going to go ahead and show off the items I mailed to SugarySweet since she received eight days ago back on September 30th.

Here is a group shot of everything together. The complete package included a vintage Halloween shrine, a haunted house and bat picture frame, a handmade vintage Halloween fabric drawstring pouch, two store-bought Frankenstein items and two handmade vintage image postcards.

The first thing I made for her was a Vintage Halloween Shrine. I've never made one before and she had a few on her wists that were my inspiration. I started with a unfinished wooden dollhouse cabinet, painted it in black and orange and then dry-brushed with a "black plum" color. Inside, I painted it mightnight blue, added golden starts, a tree and a moon. I then used printouts of vintage postcards to make "3D" cutouts of a witch flying on a broom, a Jack-o-Lantern and stalks of wheat with an owl and a farmhouse which I accented with actual 3D miniatures of a pile of bones and a tombstone.

Outside with a soda can for scale:

Inside door:

Inside main:

I really love how it came out.

The next item I made was a Halloween picture frame. It's hard to tell in the shot but it's 4 different colors of orange on the main body of the frame, all dry-brushed and layered for a real multi-toned look, with two hand painted 3D elements; a cute haunted house with spider and a bat. The bat has the same "black plum" drybrush as the shrine does. I printed a photo of the Bride of Frankenstein to put in it because she had a bunch of Frankenstein and Bride of Frankenstein items in her wist. (It can easily be changed though should she wish to put her own picture in.)

I had a lot of fun making the items, especially since it was a challenge for me coming up with non-jewelery items to make. (I tend to always include some jewelery in my swaps but she didn't want any, so I had to get creative!) The shrine was one of my favorite items to make recently and I was really proud of how it came out.

My partner received on Monday, but hasn't posted yet, so I'll share the pics I took.
Here's the whole gang

and a close up

The little ones are Patti's Ratti's. I had to paint their faces as my hands won't let me do little stitches anymore. The Witch doll is a pattern from Julie G called Sweet Witch Annie. Her face is embrodiered and took me forever! I had a lot of fun making them and hope my partner likes them

Oh man, all of the crafts have been spectacular so far!  PhoenixFire I used the same little cat in the pumpkin image in one of my crafts!  I love all the dollies and the great decoupaged stuff.  This is making me want to go home and decorate right away.  I can't wait to see more.  Hurry up, Halloween.

I received my WONDERFUL package from miss nutmeg2000 last night! Smiley
This made my night (well, aside from the hockey game the hubs and I went to...sorry, but it's hard to top hockey!)...without further ado...

This was the outside of the box - the little pumpkins look so happy to see me!

Wowzers! Look at those goodies!

...there, we can get a better look at the loot...

These were tucked in the cute little gift bag...

A cute Trick or Treat towel - decoration only - too cute to be used!

Scaredy Cat!! I love him so!

...and I love her too! I love her CRAZY hair!!

...and then I noticed there was one left...what ever could it be??? Just look at that DARLING pumpkin ribbon!! (of course I had to save it - never know when it might come in handy!)

*Gasp!!!*

...to sum up my thoughts on this "Easy-Peasy 3-Point Halloween Swap"

Thank you so much Hazel - you're a wonderful swap partner!! Smiley

I received my package from frogangel yesterday and holy moly the women spoiled me rotten.
I've been going through some major relationship problems recently and her gigantic package really made my day.

(Sorry that the pictures are so crappy right now i only have my cell phone camera)

She sent tons of goodies and i loved every one of them.. Every time i unwrapped something new i squeed in delight.

I have to hide the mummy doll otherwise my dog will steal it.. anything stuffed he assumes is his.

I tried to get a better shot of the blanket but it's still blurry and doesn't do it justice.

This thing is so incredibly cuddly. I snuggled under it last night while watching trick or treat.  Grin

Thanks again for everything frogangel you truly are an angel! I've already got the bag stuffed full of crafting goodies.
