This is the first thing I've posted on here ^_^

It's a head band I made for myself (and I'm in the middle of making one for my Mum)

My Mum gave me some 100% cotton yarn and there wasn't enough to make something big so I decided to replace my head band that is fit for the bin.

I cast on 12 stitches and then just did it in seed stitch.
Simple...had it done by the end of the day ^_^

it's great to see other rockers with a love for knitting. some of my friends are still baffled by the fact that I have tattoos and piercings but love a bit of 'knit one, purl one'!

what's more punk than doing what people won't expect?!

love the headband! x

It looks great!
I love the b+w simplicity of it.

Exactly.
And don't worry - I get the same thing when people first meet me.
They're like "You're not a 70 year old woman!  You're an inked 18 year old!  Why do you knit??"
Lol.
