Details of swap:
Are you ready to collect a plethora of fun, handmade, play food for your little one(s)? Here is how it will work. Everyone will be put into a group of four to six other crafters. Each person in each group will declare a dinner (main dish and a side dish) that they wish to create in bulk. For example: April makes lasagna, June makes pizza, May makes mac and cheese, Autumn makes ravioli, and Summer makes spaghetti. April will then make 5 individual servings of lasagna, and sends one to each of her partners and so on… this way everyone ends up with a variety of dinner options. Also with this round will include halloween candy. This would be 2 to 4 pieces of fun size candy, like the kind you give out on halloween.
Signups end 9/25/09
Partners/Groups will be given by 9/26/09
Dessert declaration due by 9/26/09
Ship outs 10/30/09
Your Dinner must be:
A) Hand made of course
B) Machine Washable
C) Non-toxic (these things might get gnawed upon!)
D) It must be a single serving
Also, please check with your partners about the fanciability of your Dinner. I know I made up a word, but how else to describe it? If the dinner you want to make is going to go into the hands of a toddler perhaps it shouldn’t have seed beads on it, but if its going to a 8 or 10 year old (or a fun loving adult for that matter) those seed beads may be just the thing to make your crafty dessert into a true object d’art!
