Thanks to TBABOC for this project.  I needed to brighten up my desk area so I took an old candy tin, covered it with leftover felt and ribbon, and filled it with these pretty flower pens!

The entire project cost maybe $6:
Cheap pens $1
Flower tape .88
Floral wire .88
Flowers from Wally World  $3

I always see crafts like these in books and think 'Oh god yeah that looks simple but *shudder* something new!' ...its a good craft to do if you're looking to accomplish something quickly and easily!
This whole project took one episode of Buffy.
Have fun!

Adorable- I'd seen this down with the flower pot before but I like what you choose to put the flowers in much better!

I just love that book, it is full of awesome things!
I did this too, but used a clay pot, and put aquarium gravel in it.... I like your better.... I bet yours dont get dirty.... I was in too a hurry to even think to wash the gravels until it was too late.  I dont use the pens, but the look good!!

I am interested in personal swaps!

Those are absolutely lovely! I am going to have to make some for my Mother in-law! Her birthday is coming up and that would be PERFECT for her....with pink roses (her favorite!) I'm saving this as one of MY favorites!!!! Great job!  Grin

Made with love (& lots of patience! ) :-)
