Shouldn't that be "Lovett"  Cheesy

haha, awesome MiLady!

Thanks everyone for your kind words, and for making this a "hot" project!

Aww, that's so cute! I love Mrs. Lovett and you did a really great job on pulling her off. If you ever figure out/remember how you did this, I'd love to hear it!

I made this so long ago now I really don't remember what I did since I was just knitting on the fly, but if I ever make another I will be sure to write down instructions and add them.

Hey if you want to be Mrs. Lovett again and dont want to use the same costume, they have Mrs.Lovett costumes at Johnny Brocks! they have Sweeny Todd ones too, i was trying to talk my boyfriend into it, so if i do, ill deffenitly have to make myself a meatpie! lol thanks so much for the great idea! (except i doubt ill talk him into it, but ohwell!)  Grin

Thank you so much for posting this!  I've been obsessed with Sweeney Todd since I was in high school and heard the original cast soundtrack Smiley  This year, I don't have a lot of money to make a Halloween costume, but I really want to be Mrs. Lovett.  I have an okay costume, but your post got me into making my own meat pie Smiley  I am so happy you posted this!  Have a happy Halloween!  Cheesy

Your meat pie is awesome!! I know this topic has been inactive for a few years, but I need to make a similar Sweeney Todd-style crocheted meat pie and I am pretty useless without some sort of pattern/schematics to follow. I've been looking for pie patterns on Ravelry, but none of them seem like they would work for this (too small, wrong sort of crust, etc).

Any way you could type out the basics of how you made this? It definitely doesn't need to be a real pattern, just some tips would be fine. I would appreciate it so much.
