I've already started decorating for Halloween!  (Hope I'm not the only one!!)  I work in a tattoo shop (I'm a body piercer) so I started decorating the shop, since I assume that's more acceptable than decorating my house in September!  I'll probably start on my house soon, since I'm inspired now!!

I know papel picado is made with tissue paper, but tissue paper and I don't get along, so I used some random scrapbooking papers.  I got the patterns from The Toymaker (love this website!) http://www.thetoymaker.com/Holidays/Halloween/1HALLOWEEN.html

The Spanish teacher gives you an A++ on your papel picado!

I've never been able to fit those into my classroom activities due to timing but my kids love my presentation on Dia de los Muertos. Smiley

LOL I'm pretty sure I took Spanish in high school just so I could learn more about Dia de los Muertos.. its my favorite!!
