When I first saw the topic name I thought someone had done it for something like Halloween and my reaction was along the lines of "who the bleep would do something so callous about such a serious issue.  What the bleep is wrong with them. etc"  I was actually quite angry and considered posting a nasty gram and then decided not to as I figured it'd cause more problems, but today I decided to see what was going on and see what everyone else had to say.

I was relieved when I read the explaination and I want to give you kudos toos.  Thank you so much for including the happy pics of your daughter, it makes the images a bit easier to stomach.

I can make that...

Oh, this was really intense. Sad

I was wondering how your daughter reacted to seeing herself looking like that. It would scare the bejeebus out of me to have it look so realistic. Bless your heart for opening a dialogue about abuse! I think it's great. (And great to see your daughter looking so normal afterwards. And your dog is too cute! <3 pitties.)

You have a beautiful little model there ^_^

I have to say it's creepy how real those pictures look. You work wonders with makeup.

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU for posting this. I work for a Child Abuse Prevention/Intervention/Treatment organization, and you did a spectacular job! We are constantly saying how we need to be more pervasive in our efforts, and you have accomplished that seamlessly. I always wish to show people just what Child Abuse & Neglect looks like without breaking confidentiality, but we have difficulty in doing so. Thank you for bringing awareness to an issue that effects 3 million children every year, and has a rate 10 times that of cancer. You have revived my confidence that more people care about this epidemic issue. Blessings to you.

Wow- wonderful job and beautiful model! I bet she had fun getting all made up. I share her love of getting made up- I am addicted to being a "zombie"! Your daughter would make a wonderful zombie and probably have a lot of fun too! LOL Smiley
