I'm glad you like it Chemama. I had a lot of fun with it (despite the breakdown of my stereo). As always, it has been a pleasure swapping with you Wink
Also I didn't mean to be impatient with the posting...I was just worried about the structural integrity of those floppy disk envelopes I used.  They made me a little nervous.

To my delight, I've just received a CD from The Meow Won't Purr.  I think my mailman must think I'm insane because I practically snatched the thing out of the poor dude's hand.  Doh.

She did a fabulous and rather professional job on the booklet and included excellent notes on why she chose each song on the compilation.

Here's the tracklist:

1. Ha Ha - Mates of State
2. Outloud - David Garza
3. 405 - Death Cab for Cutie
4. I Missed The Glance - The Sea and the Cake
5. In Our Hands - Bjork
6. Us - Regina Spektor
7. Anthems for a Seventeen Year Old Girl - Broken Social Scene
8. III Troubadour - David Garza
9. La Valse d'Amelie - Orchestral
10. Sweet Thing - Van Morrison
11. Perpetuum Mobile - Penguin Cafe Orchestra
12. Mr You're On Fire Mr (Liars Cover) - The Yeah Yeah Yeah's
13. In These Shoes - Kirsty McColl
14. Black & Tan - David Garza
15. A Nervous Tic Motion of the Head to the Left - Andrew Bird's Bowl of Fire
16. Your Hand in Mine - Explosions In The Sky
17. You're The Top - Cole Porter
18. Gravity Rides Everything - Modest Mouse
19. Evolve - David Garza
20. Peer Pressure - Jon Brion

Thanks so much, Carmela!

I detected no impatience at all! I would've gotten them up sooner, but I was waiting for my in-laws to go to Phoenix so I could have full reign over their DSL and scanner. I'm enjoying the tape... it's keeping me company as I drive to and from work. I'm also anxiously awaiting what I think might be a Britney cover later in the tape???

KendalJay! It made me laugh because it was all over the place! I loved that! The record that was in mine was similar to a record that I had when I was young, too!  Grin

Thanks for posting, Justlease! I'm sooooo glad that one has finally arrived somewhere. Hopefully the others are not far behind.
I feel insanely dumb for forgetting staples. Again, sorry everyone. You'd think after all that work I did, I'd remember the last step.  Roll Eyes
If anyone else wants a copy of the mix, let me know! I'm all for it!

I'm so inspired by all these CDs! I can't wait to participate in a swap!
Here's a question: Where do you guys download your music from? Right now I'm using Napster, but I'm not sure how happy I am with it.
