I actually finished stitching this cross stitch ages ago but the search for a frame took longer than it took to finish the piece. This was my first foray into cross stitching without using someone else's pattern. When I decided to stitch this, I had recently scored a $5 dvd of one of my favorite movies of all time ... Clue. I love all things Clue but one of my favorite parts is in one of the alternate endings. Madeline Kahn, as Mrs. White, is accused of murdering the maid and begins to adlib her hatred for Yvette. For those of you haven't seen it, here's a YouTube clip because it's just that good (the reaction shots of the other actors are priceless). I used an online font generator - StitchPoint - for the words and some clip art flames which I ran through KnitPro and then tweaked. Pretty sure it was just plain old 14-ct Aida and 2 strands of floss.

It is now hanging in my new living room under the Aqua Teen xstitch I did for my boyfriend last Christmas. I'm tempted to make the Electric Six "High Voltage" pattern shaebay posted a while back to go on either side of this piece. Hehe.

Thanks for looking!

Holy crap that is great! That's one of my favourite scenes in that movie. Madeline Kahn has the best lines.
