Congratulations!  It's really mostly that a lot of things hit at once (SIL's wedding, Halloween with 3 kids costumes to make and only one with a clue as to what they want, and my husband wants to put the house up for sale, and we're exceptionally cluttered, so there's been a lot of time spent trying to get things looking halfway decent (we won't even talk about the 200 qt bin I filled with fabric, and that's only the big pieces).

I'll definitely get the hoodie done. How much other stuff gets done remains to be seen.  Wink

Congrats!  Hope everything goes well and you have a good time.  My younger sister is planning on getting married next summer and I am so excited for her.

Congratulations! That's really exciting.

I get my paycheck today, which means it's finally time to stop planning and start crafting.

I bought some materials yesterday, and loosely drew what I'm planning on doing in a non-permanent media.  The artist in the house (who always seems to have a criticism for drawings) didn't comment one way or the other.  Not sure what that means....

I'm sure it means that it' fine!

I've got to get cracking on my hoodie... I haven't even really decided my approach yet but I have narrowed it down to two images (I can't really draw all that well) I'm sure I'll figure something out this weekend.

I've decided to go with paint, not because I'm an expert with paint, but because my other options are either going to take way longer than send-outs, or are things that I don't feel skilled enough in (or both: embroidery is something I do passably well, but my stitches are uneven enough that I prefer to keep those projects for family, who don't know the difference. Cheesy  And the last cross stitched sweatshirt I did took two years for me to finally finish).

And I got a decent start yesterday.  The only real issue with paint is that I can't undo it should it turn out completely unlike what I planned.

I haven't yet started on my hoodie but I do have ideas swirling around up there.

I will be checking in with everyone later this week.  Hope everyone is having fun!
