I found some minky and Alexander Henry on clearance at my local fabric store and had to get it. The blanket was originally intended to be a changing pad, but it came out a little big, but it's the perfect size for a travel blanket!!

I just learned how to sew a few months ago, so I'm pretty pleased with how this came out.

I love this fabric...I used it with a few other similar pieces to make a bag (patchwork) for my DIL. Great job thinking outside the "baby blanket" box!
