I'm so glad you enjoyed your package, irid3sc3nt! I had so much fun crafting for you! The wreath got a bit smooshed, but it's just wire and plastic, so you can sort of reposition any wonky letters or flat sides. The spider legs are pose-able and look like they slid around a bit, so he can go anywhere you want him to also. Your pumpkin grins reminded me of the spider face, and we both used black pompom ribbon, which made me laugh when I opened the box from you.  Cheesy
It's funny because I received a small amount of that pompom ribbon simply as part of a wrapping around a craft from last year's Vintage Halloween.  It just looks vintage-y.  So when I found it this year, I decided that had to be a part of the banner.
I'm very happy to have a Halloween wreath all my own.
Oh!  How did you make the web?

Great package there KarenLouiseM!

irid3sc3nt: I printed a large web template, then put a transparency sheet over it and traced it with silver fabric paint. I was too lazy to use a brush, so the fabric paint is much faster thanks to the little squeeze bottle!

Oh boy... my DC says that my package arrived at kittykill's house -- I hope everything made it in one piece!  I swear that is the hardest part of swapping -- worrying about the state of the package.  Undecided

On an unrelated note, do any of you ladies know if we typically do a vintage Christmas swap around here?  I went to the craft store this weekend and all the gorgeous holiday papers are out already, which of course then got me to thinking...  however, I realize it is ridiculously early for all that still!  Was just wondering if such a thing exists on Craftster!

I received from SonjaBoo! Awesome stuff! Thank you soooo much!
A cool shrine, a beautiful spider pendant and a cool little picture of a crow.

Very neat blocks that have images on all sides

Another side of the blocks

Those blocks are so fun! And I really like the shrine. Anyone got a closeup of the pendant?

Yay!! I'm so glad everything made it one piece. Smiley  I was nervous about the shrine bits maintaining their integrity.  I have some more pics at home, but am not sure if I remembered to get one of the pendant.  (In fact, I am pretty sure I forgot to get one!)  It's a purple iridescent stained glass that has kind of a wispy white going through it -- it reminded me of spider webs.

If enough people are interested, I'd certainly be willing to host!  The thought of cheesy santas is too much to resist.

I love the Boo blocks, especially the picture of the witch family! Where did you find it?

I had that image in a stack of "vintage" Halloween images that I bought at the paper store.  I'll look for the name of it!

I don't have a photo of the pendant (of course) but I did have a couple others of the shrine and such.  It's my first real shrine, so pardon me for excessive picture posting.   Roll Eyes

The front:

The inside (the spinner on the left hand picture spins):

And everything all together again:

Thank you so much for swapping kittykill!  This was such a fun swap!   Grin
