I do little cross stitch projects often, partly to keep me out of trouble Tongue and partly because they make for nice greetings cards etc. (mainly from Cross Stitch Magazine, I think)

So, here's my most recent haul Smiley

Thankee Smiley It's even prettier irl as there is some backstitch detail over the top of the black sections (red roses, but it's difficult to see here). Very fiddling and time consuming for such a little piece! Pleased with it though

Pretty! I like the kitty. You design any yourself? I think I want to try designing my own but I am nervous about it.

None of these are designed myself, but I did another post (the towels one) recently which features a cross stitch ford capri which I designed myself Smiley Best thing is just to getting doodling! Take some graph paper/small square paper and draw a picture on it. Cross stitch the squares which are mostly filled. Hey presto!
