Lucky 7!!!!
I am already off and running. I started messing around with some fabric last night and before I knew it I was making a dotee. I hope it fits one of my yet to be met partners. Even if it don't there is always room for one more dotee...somewhere.....I think I need to work on a new display.  Cheesy

I still haven't come up with a way to display mine yet. I only have three so far, but I plan on having a lot more!

OK, I'm gonna ask te stupid question.  Please don't pummel me.  How is dotee pronounced?  Is it like the proper French?  It it like Dot with eeeeee on the end?  How?

*hangs head in shame*

Don't be ahamed - it is pronounced "dot - eeee". They are named after the woman who first made them and talked about them on her blog. She's in Australia, I think, and I used to have the link, but it may be discontinued...She still posts and she still makes these dolls for friends and swaps. I'll look for the link. It's a good question and worth asking.

I think I may have stumbled across her let me know if this is the right Dot

Not a dumb question! When I first saw dotee's I wondered what they were and had to look them up.

Also, Aikibookworm, I love your avatar picture

Yes, that's the link.

And we have two more days for sign-ups - ask your friends, mothers and coworkers. I'd love to get up to 20...even one more would be great.

I have a germ of an idea...but I've got to see if it can be dotee-ized.

One more day - do you want to have three groups of 5? That would mean making 4 dotees each, but you will receive four in return....One group US-only, one group with one Canada, and one group with one UK swapper.

Or we can have 3 groups of four and one group of three...Let me know what you prefer. I'd love a larger group myself.

I've got stomach acid about postage money as it is.  If you up it any further than what was stated earlier, I need to withdraw.
