I made this in my most recent fused glass class. The bottom layer is iridescent black glass and the top layer is iridescent clear glass fused together. I made a stencil of the Pleiades star cluster (at my daughter's request) and used the stencil to make thick piles of white frit in the shape of the stars and did a full fuse. We added some other colors of frit for more effect, plus another fuse. The final phase was tack fusing white glass balls to the center of some of the stars.
