Lap Quilt Swap 5 CLOSED - Send 10/8/2009 for fabric; 12/22/2009 for blocks

I prefer it when people send bigger pieces and at least one piece that is at least 12.5" long because then I have more choices and flexiblity in what kind of block I can make for you. I sometimes don't have enough fabric to make the block I want to.

What I'm doing is cutting fat quarters into thirds which makes each piece about 7.5" x 18" and sending 4-5 of those pieces to each person in the group and I expect a fair amount of leftover fabric sent back too that I can use to make more blocks.

Oh! these are the fabrics I'm sending, by the way I cut them last night hoping that we would get our partners today!



Each person will get 2-3 prints and two solids (one cream and one either pink or blue) and I'm requesting star blocks or whatever inspires you

I'm excited but when do we start? We gotta recruit more swappers! Or we can do a small group... I'm fine with that

I extended the deadline to signup for Staurday. We need a couple more people. Since there will probably only be one group im going to make 1b1g1k2 just 1 group. So we ned a few more people. I added a week onto the sendout for fabric and sendout for blocks. Ok with everyone? Also, the DC requirements were changed. Is this ok with everyone? I was informed its mandatory. Thanks!! Amy

No, non US senders, and people from the US sending outside the US are not required to get dc numbers. If you are sending internationally, please save your postal receipts as proof of sending.

i just finished cutting and packaging! and not once did it cross my mind to take a pic of the lot together! there are 13 different prints (no solids but a colour on colour)

each package is different. but each package has:

a colour on colour large piece (approx 11x18) there are three different prints
3 peices that are approx 9x11 - there are 9 different prints
EVERY package will have a common fabric - there are two pieces approx 6x11 (same print just 2 cuts)
there is also a small 4x4 patch that has an inspirational quilting quote on it in each package. if you can work into the block awesome if not thats fine too
