I made this wallet on Saturday - it only took a few hours to put together and I'm very pleased with the result.  The pattern is from HeartofMary's Etsy shop and the instructions are very clear and easy to follow http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=30492679

Gorgeous eh?  Smiley

It's a great practical design with plenty of pockets.  I made an asymmetrical flap - didn't get the shape of that quite right but I just need to alter the shape slightly next time.  I also made mine slightly smaller - 3.25" x 7.25" instead of 4" x 7.5".

I'm planning to make a few more as pressies  Smiley

You did a great job on this, and I love the butterfly fabric. Well done!

The only purpose of the day job is to buy the craft supplies!! Cheesy  Seriously, I LOVE making personalized crafts. I now have a line of hand-crafted fans and notecards using the Zentangle (R) technique. I have also become a Certified Zentangle Teacher and teach other artforms and techniques.

Pretty fabric! Looks like a very functional wallet, too.  Good job!

Thank you so much for trying out my pattern. Your version came out great and the flap is a nice change. I just might try doing that one day.    Wink

Very cool!  One of these days I'm going to make a wallet, and this will have to be on my list of possibilities!
