Ahoy Mateys!! September 19 is one of my favorite holidays: "International Talk Like a Pirate Day"

This bag was so much fun to make! I just freehand "embroidered" the letters -- dropped the feed dogs and used a darning foot. Same for the chaos stitches on the fabric.

The odd shape of the pirate/skull fabric is to cover up a logo on the bag.

The denim tote was pre-made, and purchased at a thrift store. The red ribbon is from a Tiffany Christmas present several years ago.
