All of the items I bought at the dollar store were:
1- Ballon with Three Disney Princess on it (this was my inspiration)
2 White Table Clothes
2 Blue Tables Clothes
1 Loofah
1 Bunch of Holiday Ribbon in Blue with Silver Snowflakes
1 Bunch of Hoilday Flowers/Leaves
1 Gift Bag
1 Headband

Came to $10 plus tax.

I used a pattern for the bodice, but had to tweek it a lot after it was sewn to get it fit properly.

I had no idea how I was going to do the sleeves or the little puffy things on the side of Cinderellas dress. I ended up doing large circles and then gathering them at the top. I tried to make similar circles with the blue for the sleeves but they didn't work. They ended up looking more like airplane wings.  Grin

The back of the table cloths had interfacing and I had to tear that off to work with it. I also wanted to use the whole balloon but it just didn't fit on the dress nicely, so I cut out my daughters favorite character and glued it on. This was fun project. Also, I used the loofah like a petticoat underneath but it didn't create as much lift as I wanted- some but not a lot.

I wanted to make it slip on, so I made a clasp with the pearl along the top to secure it closed while she wears it.

Here is my finished product. Hope you like it.! Smiley

I love her mismatched shoes- precious!  Roll Eyes

How Special! Your Daughter looks really pleased in that photo. I bet she can't wait to wear it. What a great idea for using a balloon.

That's fabulous. Did she try and sleep in it like I used to with dressing up clothes? Grin
