Hey everybody this is my first post. Smiley

I got this ugly end table at a thrift store for $5.75. It was really beat up and had an ancient air freshener stuck to the underside.
I loved the mod shape of it, however!

I sanded it. Then I glued on Archie, Superwoman, and Unknown Soldier comics. I painted the edges and underside with white acrylic paint. I sealed the comics with polyurethane.

Sorry the pics are a bit blurry!

I have a dresser I am re-doing and will post it ASAP!

I gasped aloud because of how cool I think this looks! I am not into mod furniture (or comic books) and this just looks stellar. I think trimming the edges in white makes it look super sharp, too.

This rocks!

I love it when I come across a piece that someone has done and I'm sitting here, by myself, and say "ooohhhhh..." out loud.  This is fantastic.  You should be so proud of your work! I know I'm going to be proud when I totally steal this to finish one of my desk tops!  Wink Love it!

Thank you so much! I was almost going to paint it red where it is white, I'm glad I chose the white!

Thank you so much! I really took my time with it rather than rushing, which is usually where I fail, haha. Thanks again!
