lolaforpresident: just felt & scissors! well and thread of course.  I use stiff felt for the teeth, though.  Keeps them crisp looking.

k3lly:  i just like to think of everything that's my favorite, things I like to see in art, and animals/aspects about animals that I like, and I think about how to combine them!  The fabric & fur I get also inspires me a lot, and definitely makes the monsters way better than if I had just used a solid plain color.
