I recently created a little appartment in an old workplace of my dad. Where my bed is, there was left an ugly pipe (don't know what it was used for...)
My dad wanted to make a little cabinet over it to hide it, but while waiting for this I thought why not make it a part of the rest of the cat tree Tongue
I used double sided tape and sisal rope (the cheapy kind). Easy transformation!

Oh, and this picture shows how it was in the very beginning  Smiley

My three are officially jealous of your cat tree (they broke theirs by being hefting great lumps of lard!), and I'm officially jealous of that space - I love the high pitched roof. I hope you enjoy living there!

His name is 'Basiel' which rimes with 'Asiel' (dutch)
Basiel = Basil
Asiel = animal shelter
Funny thing from ex-BF  Roll Eyes 'Basiel van het asiel'
Otherwise, his picture has been in a gossip magazine under 'animal of the week' and after that the poor guy still was 7 months in the animal shelter. So that made us choose him  Smiley
