I got my dishcloths from imafundork yesterday!  The are so cute and match my kitchen perfectly.




The pattern is really cool.  The colors seem to weave in and out of each other.  Very pretty.  It's very soft and thick.  It'll get a lot of use. 



The perfect yellow and it has little tulips on it!  Isn't that cute?  Will not get used, will sit around and continue to be cute. 



Finally, a little extra, really little.  It's only 3 inches square!  It is so cute.  I said it was the love child of the other two cloths.  I love everything so much!  Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!

Darn, I thought I was the first picture poster    Oh well.....

I just got home a short while ago and saw my package from itchyfingers in the mailbox!  What a great surprise to come home to after a long frustrating day at work.

Forgive my picture taking, I'm a bit tired, so I suspect I did not do her work justice, but I wanted to make sure I posted asap.

She sent me two dishcloths.  One is a very pretty basketweave pattern in white cotton.  It feels so soft!  The second is a LOVELY leaf pattern in sage green (hmmmm - a familiar green, I think I made one of hers in that same colour!), that she embroidered the veining on.  So very pretty!  I know the pictures can't pick up the leaf pattern, but I love it.  It seems almost a shame to use them to wash dishes with!  She also said she made mistakes on the leaf one, but trust me, barely noticeable, and I probably only noticed because you mentioned it.  You're too hard on yourself!  I love them both.



Below the cloths is a picture of the little scrubber she made me.  It is adorable, and I think it would actually make a cute little facial scrubber too, since the cotton feels so soft and gentle.  I love the little flower shape and look of it.


Then, she sent me something she invented herself.  It is a knit little envelope to hold a scrubby - she calls it a scrubvelope - very cute.  Or, as she suggested, it could be used as a soap saver too, which I think I am tempted to do with it.  I love the colour and shape of it - and the matching scrubby.

I'm so glad you like everything!  I might have a picture of the leaf dishcloth that shows the shape.  If I do, I'll post it later.

I'm glad you like your cloths, KCMonkey.  I used the Mason Dixon Ballband pattern for the green one.  You took a picture of the back.    This is what the front looks like:

What pretty knitted dishloths.   That flower scrubby is awesome.


Everytime i see neat knitted stuff makes me wish I could figure it out, but two sticks is a but much for my brain to process. LOL So I think i'll just stick to crochet.

Got my HUGE package from onyxnox today - I had mentioned that I would love something crocheted because I don't do it and she asked me if I minded getting a potholder as one of the dishcloths and of course I didn't mind.  In the end, she made me a set (she said that it seemed wrong to only do one potholder) and still made me three dishcloths!!  Not only that, but she sent me a very cute set of stitch markers, too.  Spoiled!!

Twin leaves - I really need to learn how to do this - I love the pattern.


Fleur de lis to go with my kitchen towels (try as I may, I could not get a really great picture of this one - I think it's the colour because we had the same problem with the oak leaves cloth I made for her)

It's so funny that you say that, froggmomma, because I have tried so many times to teach myself to crochet and I can't do it!  Knitting is so easy in my mind, but I just can't master crochet.
