I started off by wanting to make the burdastyle Marie skirt.  However, once I sewed in all the pleats it ballooned like none other, so I ripped it apart and started over again.  This was my first time working with a patterned fabric that was noticible when it didn't line up. So the back is a bit funny looking due to this.  I'll probably still wear it, since I don't tend to see my backside anyhow :p

The back is indeed a bit funny looking but not so much. And the front is very beautiful! You should definitely wear it and be proud!  Wink
