I agree with everyone else. It's a very cute apron and your hubby did a good job modelling it. My first sewing projects were far from this beautiful. Go girl. Can't wait to see the next one.

Well, thank you thank you!  I bought some other material and made another apron (same as this one) and it actually turned out better!  I got the pockets on it!  I still have to get the husband to model it and take pictures, but I will have it up soon!

I found the fabric at Hancock Fabric.  But today I found a fabric store right down from my apartment that has TONS of fabric and some really pretty stuff (including some that was $96 per yard!  What kind could possibly cost $96 per yard!?!?!?).

It's really cute. The pink bias tape just adds to the retro feel of it. If you want, once you get pockets perfected, You could always add some later but it's adorable.

We have a new restaurant near my house called Galaxy In (drive up, 50's style) created by the Rainforest Cafe guy. I'm going to try and find that fabric next time I'm at Hancock's and make a little skirt to wear when I go eat there ;o)
