i was soooo close to finishing 1 of my day 2s but i am soooo tired now...i am still gonna try to push through (since i started working on this swap, basically the weekend of halloween, i have only slept 4-6 hours a night and i STILL feel like i am not doing enough while i am awake)

but its mostly going to plan (stupid day 5 item has me all kerfuffled)

Hopefully I'll finish up this weekend...don't know how that will go. I've been feeling kind of yucky lately...people think that I'm preggo 'cause I have the syptoms. We'll see what happens.

Day 11 and 12 need to be done closer to the due date though.

I havn't really made much progress this week.  My husband did help me finish the big part of Day 1 so I'm almost done with that!  I really need to pull the sewing machine out again then I'll feel motivated to do more.  I did want to send everything on the first sendout date but I think I may have to send the last few days on the second sendout date....but that's ok I guess that's what the second sendout date is for

So.. I was thinking, day 12 would be dec 13, and we're suppose to send by dec 1... is anyone else who's considering baked goods a little worried stuff might be a little stale after 2 weeks?

if you are sending baked goods, you can send those separately or with the 2nd shipment.

For the baked goods question, for those of you sending them you could always tell your partner that they can go ahead and open them as soon as they recieve the package.  Im sure they wouldnt mind opening a gift early.   

this is also an acceptable plan. just make sure if you are the partner receiving that you do take photos so you can post them on the day they go with.

A wrapping plan huh?  I actually DO have one of those.  I'm wrapping each day in a different color of tissue paper, and making a small chart so pinkleo knows what color to open on what day.  It's actually an entire column in my spreadsheet, because yes, I'm insane enough to pick wrapping colors based on my themes for each day... 

I admit, I am not normal.

lol i finally did (7 whole hours ) but i awoke to my printer being out of ink for some unknown reason (i bought ink like 2 weeks ago, and i hadnt been able to afford it for over a yr)

i am so frustrated cos now instead of finishing day 2 by Sunday, i have to put IT off too....ugh

After some surprising changes, all seems to be complete except for days 4 and 5. I've even bought a gi-normous box from a very helpful postal worker who gave me a shipping estimate. Starting to freak out that it won't be enough, good enough, liked enough, you know, the usual swap paranoia. Everyone gets that, right? Right?

After freaking out that Thanksgiving isn't actual crafting time but time with in-laws and realizing Dec 1st comes fast, I reorganized the entire plan based on what would ship best in boxes, I realized that I had finished more than I thought I did.  I hope to get some good crafting done this week.  I finished another item yesterday and feel like I am on a roll.  I hope everything works out well.  I will be sending in 2 boxes regardless since some items are bigger and I am trying to space them out.  I am excited how everything is turning out.
