Oh my goodness...  I *JUST* finished my Day 1 extra large gift!  I was so excited, I had to sign right onto Craftster to tell you all!  I'm really pleased with it, and wish I could see the look on my partner's face when she opens it.  Pinkleo, I may just demand your DH stands by with a camera on Christmas morning!

::::squeeee!:::: I am so excited!  I wonder what it is.  I shall relay your demands to my DH.  Now, I must get _________________ your Day 1 ____________________.

Oh, I might as well CHECK IN well I'm here.  I have been working mostly on Day 1 this week.  I feel behind, but I think I'm just fretting.  On my list of to-dos, make a cool list of what I have and haven't completed....I keep forgetting to do that.

I am finally on the mend.  It is about time.  Being sick is lame and I didn't want to work on anything for my partner while I still had the fever with H1N1.  So I haven't made much progress, but I am still doing okay I think.

Day 12: will be made closer to sending
Day 11: have supplies
Day 10: 2/10 done
Day 9: 7/9 done
Day 8: 1/8 done, 2 more started
Day 7: DONE
Day 6: DONE
Day 5: DONE
Day 4: 1/4 done
Day 3: have all supplies
Day 2: have all supplies (but might switch some out)
Day 1: had to restart, about 20% done

I am trying to figure out where I should store said objects so little one doesn't think I am making something for them to play with.

I have this exact problem. My three year old thinks everything I make is for her. It doesn't help that some of what I'm making is for 1boy1girl1kitty2 is actually for her children. I've had to rescue a few things already and explian over and over agian that they are not for her!

Well, even though I just sorta checked in, here's my official update for the week...

12.  DONE
11.  DONE
10.  DONE
9.    8/9 Done; making last one closer to send outs
8.    DONE
7.    5/7 Done; 2 planned
6.    2/6 Done; 1 started, remaining 4 planned (purchased supplies)
5.    1/5 Done; 2 Started; 1 planned
4.    3/4 Done; 1 started
3.    1/3; 1 planned; 1 I'm wrestling over
2.    1/2 Done; 1 planned
1.    DONE

All in all, I have 16 items left to make, 4 of which have already been started.  I actually may even take a short break from this swap, so I can get some of my family Christmas presents done.  Then I'll feel like I'm in a better place holiday wise.  But don't worry Pinks, I'll be back to you soon!   Kiss Kiss Kiss

I've finished Days 11, 8, and 7. I counted last night and I actually only have 29 things left, so I'm feeling pretty good! Of course, some of those things are the big things.  Roll Eyes

Eeep!  I'm so glad that I have accomplished so much of this swap already.  I just got 2 requests for handmade sweaters for Christmas.  And I have about 4 lap quilts that I would like to make for people as well. Shocked

Want to learn to crochet or knit?  I have a ton of extra crochet hooks & circular knitting needles.  Will throw in some pattern books and yarn for anyone interested in a swap.
