I started making this cat bag and it turned out very scary. I think I will give it to my ex.

you open it via a front flap that closes around the nose (I put yarn in it)

Oh my goodness. It must be a himalayn because it has a flat-ish face and buggy eyes. How hilarious! Good for you for having the guts to post it. That has just made my night;p!

bwa hahah!  That is so funny/evil!  You know what it looks like?  It looks like one of those bags that you put on the handlebars of your bike.

I love anything with cats, so I think its cute!  The eyes remind me a little of those goldfish with the bulging eyes though Smiley

It seems like a friendly cat, however odd it may look. Can you remember the pattern or did you just kind of wing it? I'd love to alter it to make a koala or a rat...

its winged (?).  Lets see, I made a bowl shape and then I attached a lid with ears and then i shaped the lid to a slant with a hole for the nose then I made some eyes and then some pupils and then I attached them by sc around with orange.  I put the handle in the back- just a thick cord.  I'll probably try to redo this so I'll post a tutorial when that happens.

It reminds me of the advert we had in the 70's in the UK, for children playing safely or something - Charlie I think he was called. He had the same eyes, mind you, so did the boy. It was weird! I do like yours though!

Oh, my.

What freakishly nifty cats. They're so scary it's funny.

How brilliant.

And if it's not asking too much, it would be oh, so very lovely if you would be kind enough to post a pattern. Please?

i love this.  I wonder if I could make a dog one. I have a Boston Terrier, so it might not be that hard.

If you don't mind sharing and get a pattern together, you should submit it to CrochetMe.  They are looking for cool items and you can get free yarn for the project.

Your cat bag would make a great Christmas present for a friend of mine!
I shall wait patiently for a tutorial ... please, please ... and brush up on my crocheting while waiting.

Thanks in advance.

That is totally sweet - I love it!

I don't think it looks evil at all - but the eyes remind me of goldfish, too. Smiley

Great job!!!
