This is a great idea! I am getting so tired of the plastic stakes and now I have a use (besides mosaics) for the tons of tiles I've collected from jobs that I did for friends.

I am clearly having a why didn't I think of that moment! I collect hosta's and had considered painted rocks to mark the types, but I have a large box of small square bathroom tiles dying to be used and, well, voila!!
