So, I've started going by bus a lot again, and thus the knitting-frenzy begun again.
I started out with a shawl I wanted to use for my character for an upcoming LARP, and then I got so caught up in the knitting that I've just kept going.
All designs are sort of improvised as I went along. I made a basic Idea in my head, and then I just knitted and went with whatever felt right at the moment.

So far I've completeted these (and are working on a new project and have more in mind after that one):

The Shawl

Back: (I managed to not put it on centred, I hope you'll forgive me for being too lazy to take new pictures)

Spread out:

Close up on the crocheted flower-pin that keeps the shawl together:

Fingerless gloves:

A scarf (just cause I finished the gloves before we had arrived at home and I was anyway just sitting with a ball of yarn and a pair of knitting needles):

Gloves and Scarf together:

It's all very beige and not at all my style with all the lace. But hey, it's fun to knit and keeps me occupied on the bus =) And I could always use them for the larp and then donate them to my sister or such.

I didn't use any patterns at all.
Well, I do have a diagram at home for the lace-pattern I used for the scarf and gloves, so I can't say it's _all_ my design, but other than that I just... designed it myself and improvised sort of

I absolutely love the half-gloves! I've been wanting an excuse to try out lace, but have been scared away Smiley  I may have to go a-searching for a similar pattern. Adorable!

Lace is really not that difficult, and so much more fun than plain knitting.
So seriously, both of you, try it! It's totally worth it ^^
And schlieren- I usually look at sites with free patterns (we have a fantastic scandinavian one with soooo many gorgeous stuff) and when I stumble across somethng with a pattern I like I simply take that diagram and use the pattern. As in this case, I got the pattern for this lace-knitting from a pair of socks I saw there =)
