Good name in man and woman, dear my lord,
Is the immediate jewel of their souls.
Who steals my purse steals trash; 'tis something, nothing;
'Twas mine, 'tis his, and has been slave to thousands;
But he that filches from me my good name
Robs me of that which not enriches him,
And makes me poor indeed.
Othello Act 3, scene 3, 155–161
Sorry to the Shakespeare fans out there for taking that quote completely out of context.
I have been wanting to make a hobo style purse for awhile, but my sewing skills are not so hot. At the dollar store I saw the trash bags, thought of all the fused grocery bag stuff out there. Then it hit me I do not have to sew, I can fuse those seams.
Inspiration comes from a variety of sources that are too numerous to list. Though I do consider this original, it may not be unique.
Basically I made a large purse and accessories. The accessories include, a tampon holder, a wrist purse(my wallet), a coin purse, and a Kleenex holder.
Supplies used
1. 4 different colors of trash bags - blue, white, pink and black
2. soda bottle plastic

One bit of warning to anyone that wants to duplicate this project, be careful what kind of bags you buy, I got the scented kind. My craft room smelled like an cheap perfume factory exploded. Also I recommend getting a mini iron. I did do all of this with a full size iron, and I have a few war wounds to show for it.
