I'm going to claim Leighi123 for 2 zippered wristlets and a messenger bag Cheesy

2nd claim this round, 0 sent, 0 received, 1 pending

My name is Claire, I'm 25 and I live in New Jersey. I work at an engineering publishing company... I'm a vegetarian, I do yoga, LOVE animals (especially cats), zombies and skulls, cupcakes, and anything bohemian/indie. My favorite colors are blue, orange, teal and green. No allergies but can't stand the feel of velvet, and chocolate totally grosses me out. I definitely have craft-ADD - i love learning new crafts but recently I've been on a crocheting-sewing-jewelry-ATC kick.

Anything else you would like to know about me, PM away!

BIG wishes BOLD

- BUNNY HOODIE! http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=298030.0 I'm sure i'm way too old for this, but whatever, its cute! cotton/jersey would be perfect (i don't like velour) You could even alter an existing hoodie ... i <3 upcycling!

Claiming claire313 for A Tree of Life pendant for my sister!

First claim this round of three / 0 sent / 0 received

About Me

Greetings everyone! 32 year old woman who lives in Florida (USA) with my guy and two cats. My favorite colors are jewel tones (like amethyst purple, emerald green, ruby red, sapphire blue, turquoise, and amber) or earth tones (like greens/browns together). I like silver but not really gold. (Copper's ok too.) My favorite color combination is a deep teal blue and chocolate brown together. It makes me happy. I also love things that go along with my "PhoenixFire" theme like reds/oranges/yellows together. My favorite animals are cats, owls, penguins, bats and red foxes. I love to read, I enjoy photography and I love all things Disney!

ALLERGIES
I suffer from migraines so please NOTHING musk/amber/patchouli/dragon's blood or floral scented. Unless it smells like you can eat it, it will give me a migraine. I LOVE fruit and dessert scents greatly though. Also, please no bar soaps (skin is sensitive to glycerin) and nothing with artificial sweeteners like NutraSweet (aspartame) or Splenda (sucralose) as I'm allergic to both.

Crafts

Sewing

*big wish -- A purse in this kind of style. I LOVE, LOVE LOVE this bag. The mix of the cord and the cable...? LOVE. (Could use an existing sweater for the knit part as well if you don't knit. I think that'd work just fine as well.)

*big wish* -- A tote like this one. I love and covet everything about it from the colors, fabric to the pattern.

*big wish* -- A robe like this one. I wear a US size 4 and can send measurements if needed.)

*new* A Weekender Bag! - We're staying overnight this month at a hotel for our 11th anniversary. I have nothing to pack my clothes into! I would LOVE a big, useful bag like this kinda of style/idea to take with me. (Who wants to buy boring, ordinary luggage?)

*new* -- Something made from the JOEL DEWBERRY'S AVIARY ALMOND FABRIC. (Stuff like this wristlet or these potholders or this craft apron or this card holder etc. Pillows, aprons, anything! I am just in love with this fabric!

*new* -- Some placemats and/or table runner of some sort. I really like this for style/colors but I'm flexible. We have our first ever dining room table and it's round so I really don't need a huge runner or a ton of placemats (even just two would be fine!) but it might be cool to have decoration for it. We're in the process of striping it and repainting it a dark, chocolate brown.

*new* -- A keyboard wrist support like this Can be in any fabric/colors you think I'd like. (I need it for work where I don't have an ergonomic keyboard like I do at home.)

-- A cell phone wristlet like this. I love the colors and the shape/size of this one. (I have a Samsung r450 Messager for size reference. Though mine is metallic red.)

-- Some Fabric buckets like this or like this to store and tote around craft supplies.

Knitting

*big wish* -- This scarf in these type of earthy, natural colors. (If it were in a mix of teal blue and chocolate brown that would work too.) I think this is one of the most perfect things ever. I don't really need scarves as a rule because I live in Florida, but I'd find reasons to wear one like this!

-- Hand knit socks. Something warm and soft (no wool please because it itches me) I've got small feet so like a 6.5 size foot or girl's sized large socks for reference. (HUGE bonus if it's argyle pattern. I don't know why but I love argyle.)

Other

*big wish* -- A cool fitted tee or fitted tank top! I wear a US size 4 or typically a size small or medium and I love greens, blues, purples, greys and browns for shirt colors. I pretty much live in baby doll/fitted tees. See my shirt wists for some inspiration. (Thanks to everyone's who's made ones for me. I LOVE them all so much I want to add more to my collection. It's been great fun wearing my custom shirts!) **I've recently added a few more ideas including some Phoenix stencil shirts.

*new* -- Dessert-scented body spray. I use and love the "Beach Baby Perfume" from Coconut Hut. I can't wear normal perfumes because I can only wear things that smell like you can eat it or I get a migraine. I love desserts and fruit scents. (Scent Wishlist here for help/ideas.) But NO floral and NO musk at all - not even a drop! - or it'll be unwearable for me.

-- Something stained glass - sun catcher, glass mosaic item, etc. I just love stained glass and wouldn't even know where to begin making it myself. I have a wall of sliding glass doors and a balcony to show things off.

-- Something glass work like a vase or something. Blown or torch or whatever. A cool medium I don't know how to work with at all. This is really pretty for example.

-- Something ceramic/pottery or vase or a bowl or a tea mug or whatever. Again, a skill I don't have but really love. (A couple things I've wisted for inspiration.)

-- Anything with a phoenix on it. I LOVE the phoenix and there's not nearly enough phoenix-related things in the world or my life. You can check out my wisted phoenix items here as inspiration.

-- Fused glass or glass (microscope) slide pendants you think I'd like. (Here are some wisted inspiration items as examples.)

-- Surprise me! Look at my wists or my amazon wishlist, or the colors I like and see what you can make that you think I'd like.

Craft Supplies

*big wish* *new* -- Artistic Wire brand wire in 24 gauge. Just like this! Especially needing brown and non-tarnish silver. This is my new, all-time favorite wire and I can't find any locally. (I also use 16 gauge as well but it's slightly easier to find than 24 gauge.)

*new* -- Rubber stamp pads and/or rubber stamp markers. I've gotten a pretty cool collection of stamps but I have no ink pads for them!

-- Starter resin kit/supplies (resin, molds, etc.)

 -- Lampwork beads.

-- Beading supplies. I create jewelry so I'm always looking for unique and interesting pendants, charms, gemstone beads, large focal beads and such. Also, I love Swarovski crystal, unique clasps or toggles.

Extras
-- Tea! Especially fruity ones.

-- Chocolate! (white, milk or dark) No coconut please.

-- Candies! (whatever neat little treats you enjoy, send 'em my way. I love candy)

-- Sewing magazines. (especially things geared towards newbies)

-- Beading magazines (esp ones with projects/tutorials)

Thanks in advance to whomever picks me! Grin

I will claim Pinkleo for a dotee doll or two, scrabble tiles, and maybe a few extras  Wink

2nd claim, 0 sent, 0 received

I'm currently living in Ann Arbor, MI with my boyfriend. I spend practically all my free time either crafting, reading, or watching horribly addicting reality tv. I'm a really laid-back type of person, I love all colors, except pastels and neon and excessive amounts of pink. I love quirky animals/objects/anything, stripes, spirals. I love recycled craftiness, using found objects and materials and using it for a totally new purpose. I'm not allergic to anything that I'm aware of although my boyfriend is very sensitive to scented things so none of that please. I'm gearing up for Christmas so some of the things I'm listing are actually going to be for other people - help me out

WISH LIST (big wishes in BOLD!!!)
(any links listed are just to give you an idea of what I would like)

Crafted

-a knitted or crocheted facehugger (from the movie Alien - see picture below)
http://pe.elmstreet-online.com/shop1/catalog/images/palis_Micro%20Face%20Hugger.jpg

-a simple Christmas stocking for a dog maybe in the shape of a paw or something

-a life-like needlefelted kitten

-knitted or crochet shawl (ideas on my wist)

-yummy handspun (I'd love rainbow type colors, bright and bold!), not too thick - I don't crochet or knit, but I want to get into weaving

-knitted winter socks for a large man (not sure on the sizing PM me for more info on this claim)

-golden retriever themed art

-golden retriever hand puppet

-a "learn to crochet" kit

-a set of 2 or 3 coiled fabric bowls in blues or greens for storing things like this
http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=292234.0

-colorful blanket either quilted, crocheted, or knitted (see my wist for ideas)

-embroidered kitchen towels (themes of anatomy, funky, crows/ravens)

Supplies
(While I love getting new supplies I'm trying to cut down on my current stash so I don't need any supply-only claims at the moment - Thanks!)

-Diamond Glaze
-canvas boards (big or small I will use them  )
-a stamp carving kit
-contact paper for making wall decals (preferably black)
-glass etching kit
-charms (I like to incorporate them in my art)
-foreign coins
-thick watercolor paper
-any good drawing pens, markers, paints, and/or pencils
-any crafting books along my favs in crafting (anything Ed Emberley, Big Ass Book of Crafts, Techniques for Polymer Clay, etc)

Thank you for anyone that picks me!

I claim sheepBlue for a crafted surprise (from your wish list) and a supply surprise (also from your wish list of course). Just tell me if you need to know what it is. Otherwise I'll keep it a surprise.  Smiley

I live in Sweden with my SO and our 19 months old little baby.  Smiley We are both part time stay at home parents and have been since Mika was born (except for the first three months when I studied full time and Mika was home with daddy full time). I am a senior high school teacher (is that correct? teaching 16-19 year olds) of Swedish, Philosophy and Psychology. For the last year however, I have been working with an integration project, bringing immigrants and native Swedish people together. I also teach craft classes in the evenings. Lots of projects going on.  Cheesy

Please note: If you want to send me a book directly from amazon or some other online shop, please make sure that it is shipped from Europe. Otherwise I may face heavy customs fees.

Top two wishes right now

Latch & hook kit
My aunt made a couple of pillows using this technique back in the seventies. Apparently she loved it so much she used to go up an hour earlier in the morning to have time to work on them before work! Since she is not normally the crafty type I feel that this has to be encouraged, so I want to give her another kit, but they are hard to find in Sweden. Would love one with cats/kittens!

Pegboard hooks!
Hooks of different kinds for pegboard (also hard to find in Sweden). Would love all kinds of storage solutions for pegboard, like these or others (any kinds are appreciated):
http://www.hookstore.com/buckbins.htm#kb
http://www.hookstore.com/buckbins.htm#kb6
http://www.hookstore.com/panels.htm#office

Crafted things

Baby sling/carrier/meitai
I know this is a lot to ask for, but if someone wants to make me a non-elastic baby sling I would absolutely love you! Maybe something like the Storchen wiege (http://www.storchenwiege.com/). A non-elastic sling should preferably be woven diagonally (i.e. the fabric you use should be, look at the close-ups on the Storchenwiege site), but maybe it works with other fabrics as well. Other kinds of ergonomical carriers would also be great, like a meitai maybe (www.meitaibaby.com). Not a ring sling though, since they would probably kill my back. I need something with the weight well distributed over both shoulders and hips.

Granny square(?) shawl
A shawl made out of multi-coloured crocheted flowers (is there a name for it? is it even flowers? you know those colourful round (or squarish) things put together)

Funky baby clothes[/s][/b]
Fun, funky (or maybe liberal, feminist, sarcastic...) baby clothes fitting a 15 months old or bigger. We're not into gender stereotyping, so any colours are o.k. Something knitted would be really cool! but anything goes: appliques, fabric painted, crocheted...

Woodland creatures to live in Christmas tree
Felt creatures for my Chrismas tree. We have this white plastic Christmas tree, that is really quite good looking, kind of magical with lights shining. I discovered that it looks even more magical if I let little creatures live on the branches, so for next Christmas I will need more woodland creatures, monsters or something like that to inhabit it. Felt looks good. I guess they could be crocheted as well, little amigurumis. Size maybe somewhere between 1.5" and 3.5". Some creatures to inspire you: http://www.flickr.com/photos/fantastictoys/sets/1630769/ but feel free to use your imagination.

Anything from my wist
And of course anything else from or inspired by my evergrowing wist.
http://www.wists.com/gavagai

Kits (does this go under supplies?)

A soap making kit! (never tried before)

Resin kit! (never tried before)

A kit for any kind of craft I haven't tried yet. Feel free to PM me about that.

Supplies

Bathing suit fabric/pattern/old pictures
Bathing suit fabric and/or pictures/patterns of old bathing suits (think the twenties-thirties). I am thinking of sewing a bathing suit for little Mika, modelled after an old bathing suit. I'd like something with bloomers like legs, maybe in white and/or navy blue or striped (any colours), but colourful patterns (like flowers or something) would also look nice. I am doing this just for fun. She likes to bathe in the nude anyway.  Cheesy I just took tailoring classes, so I should be able to sew it as long as I have pictures and fabrics. A pattern for any sizes to adapt to her size would also be nice. Maybe I could crochet one as well come to think of it, but then the pattern would have to be made for a baby, since I am no good at adapting crochet patterns.  Smiley

hole puncher
Something to punch holes in shrink plastic, preferably with different sizes and not too poor quality. I used to have one that could barely make holes, and you had to trim the holes afterwords with scissors.

Lightscribe cds/dvds
Lightscribe cds/dvds for me to lightscribe on. Would love different colours! Can't get the different coloured ones here.

Cotton fabric with "frames" on
I am looking for fabric that consists of "frames" of some sort with a white inside. Ideal would be images of empty photo frames (if anyone has seen such a fabric, PLEASE tell me where  ), but otherwise maybe just white squares with a border of some other colour around it. I would like to use it to iron-on images in the white sqare and get the effect that the image is framed.

Thin silver (plated) wire
Silver or silver plated/gold plated wire, thinner than 0.4 mm (maybe someone can translate this into American standard?)

Square bails for making pendants
Flat metal things with a loop (preferably silver/gold or silver/gold plated) to fasten on the back of for example a marble to make it into a pendant. Something like this: https://www.rings-things.com/cgi-bin/hazel/hazel.cgi?action=detail&item=49-455-3  Ideally either 10mm or 20mm square, but also interested in other sizes.

Gold plated chain
Gold plated chain to make necklaces and other jewelry.

Silver plated finger rings
Silver plated finger rings with a large plate (1.5-2 cm?) with sides/borders (will try to find a link to make it less confusing) for crafting jewelry.

Glass thingies/plates for making jewelry
Glass thingies, especially ones with holes in them:
http://www.wholesalersusainc.com/hand-glass-shapes-rectangles-holes-40pcs-p-1325.html
Other glass shapes on the same site are also as interesting, and coloured square marbles also... Just different shaped glass thingies to put pictures behind really... and/or coloured ones for rings:
http://www.plainmabel.com/ckshop.php?item=1168&ret=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.plainmabel.com%2Fckshop.php%3Fpage%3D1%26category%3D4
(I already have enough of the "normal" round transparent ones (that you can buy in flower shops (at least here) though.)

Craft books & magazines

Book with fun/cute Japanese sewing and/or crochet patterns (when it comes to books it might be a good idea to ask if I already have the book before claiming; will try to list  the books I have soon)

Crochet books or magazines with fun new projects (not too traditional stuff). I like "Crochet today". I only have the september-october 2007 issue so far. Please ask me before you send a crochet book, since I have a few (not many) already and might have the one you want to send. (Will try to list the ones I already have soon.)

MAKE: technology on your time (The only one I already have is volume Cool

CRAFT: transforming traditional crafts (I have a couple of these, will list soon)

Craft books/magazines in general with fun new projects (not too traditional stuff) (in English or German or with easy-to-follow pictures (well, Swedish is good as well  Cheesy)

Extras

Please take a look at my supplies list. There are quite a few things there that could count as extras, depending on the amount. Would be happy for anything.  Cheesy

Please no food/candy! and I'm not too keen on batiks

Kiss AND THANK YOU SO MUCH TO WHOEVER PICKS ME  Kiss

I claim gavagai for ... a latch hook kit with cats/kittens for her aunt.  Craftiness should definitely be encouraged and I love latch hooking.  Smiley

I'm in Canada, this is my first claim and I'll brb with my list.

Crafted Stuff
(examples of most of these things can be found on my wist)

* HUGE WISH!!  Dog seat cover for my Jeep, any colour that goes with beige.  Large dogs, so sturdy fabric is necessary.
* Black & white art for my walls - photography, sketches, charcoals (love), embroidery, anything.
* A new wallet, many examples found on my wist.
* Bath poufs knitted/crocheted.  White cotton preferably please.
* I broke my magnifying compact and I still havent replaced it, and I thought someone might want to make me a decorated one??  Yes/no??   Must be magnifying, I am old and blind.
* Embroidered tea towels in fall colours - nature themes, food themes, plants, nothing with a face please (unless it naturally includes one).
* Soft eye mask that you put in the freezer - corn would be awesome, rice smells a little funny to me.
* Body pillow cases in blues and greens - patterns or solids, I can provide dimensions. -- thanks ariaya but I could always use another.
* Scented sachets for my closet (hanging) and my drawers (not-hanging).  I'm not a huge fan of the traditional lavender scent, so something else less floral would be fabulous.
* A fabric business card holder that snaps shut, in earthy colours please.

* I have a wist.  Its growing every day and I would love anything from or inspired by it!

Supplies
(I live far away from any and all craft stores, supplies are like gold to me, an all-supply package would be wonderful)

* Black and white patterned scrapbook paper, not all the same, full sized sheets to put on my walls.
* Yarn I do not recognize the concept of too much yarn, it is impossible.  Fancy fabulous yarn is wonderful.  Handspun is divine.  Nice acrylic is fine too, worsted weight, I use it for everything including scrapghans, so scraps are fine too.  Baby yarn that isn't pink (I have enough pink) is wonderful.  Theres no such thing as too much cotton (especially bright colours and more especially red, apparently we're only allowed to buy it around Christmas in Canada).  I've fallen in love with felting, so wool is fabulous, especially in blues and greens (for a kitty bed).  Id also love to try fancy types that I cant get here recycled, corn, soy, bamboo, hemp, wool blends, etc.  Especially bamboo.  I have a project in mind for my mom that requires 4x80g of a bamboo yarn.  A bright or jewel tone colour would be fantastic.  I hate buying online, I always get the colour wrong.  This being said, I do not recognize novelty yarn (including the evil boucle) as actual yarn.  No need to send any of that.
* Crochet hooks - metal with bamboo or Softouch handles any size (especially G) or an S hook.
* Bright blue and bright green fabric, solids or patterns.  Its for a truly patchwork quilt so smallish pieces are fine.
* Scraps (no matter how small, seriously 1/2 cm square is big enough) of felt, any colours.
* July/August 2008 Crochet Today! magazine.  Something went wrong with my subscription and they skipped that month.  Back issue magazine shipping to Canada is ridiculously expensive.   Anybody done with theirs?
* Afghan patterns, especially the newer best of booklets that many yarn companies have.  The fancier, the better.
* Yarn bobbins.
* Embroidery hoops - all sizes, preferably paintable.
* Large to giant glass beads and/or seed beads, any colour, actually a bag of bead soup would be wonderful.
* Black paint markers - I can't paint but I'm an excellent colourer-inner.
* Tunisian crochet "kit", Id love to learn but have no hooks or directions.
* Freezer Paper (a how-to-stencil using freezer paper tute would be awesome too, but not absolutely necessary).
* Small frames (3x5" ish) wood not plastic please.  I need 12 but you don't have to send that many and they don't have to match.
* Paint stir sticks.
* Small pieces of softwood, I've been playing around with some pendant carving.
* Interesting pieces of driftwood, any size.

Extras

* I never say no to sugarless gum, anything mint flavoured (no chocolate though, ick) or favourite recipes (especially for baking).
* Maldon sea salt.  I can't find it here, my grocery store won't order it and I am craving pretzels like crazy.
* Other foodie extras, I LOVE to bake.
* Surprise me!  I like useful things as opposed to purely decorative.  Storage ideas are particularly appreciated.

About Me

Hi, Im Allison, a 30-whatever year this is (39 now, I think) year old hermit from the wilds of Ontario.  Seriously, I have more deer and bears visit than people, and Im okay with that.  I am a jeans and t-shirt kind of chick who is completely ready for the apocalypse and would be happy to share her rutabagas and pemmican making skills with the people of Craftster.  I have two large dogs and three cats that think they are dogs.  My primary craft is crochet though Im attempting to work on my beading, glass, sewing, embroidery and knitting skills.   However, I have the attention span of a gnat, 47 different jobs and a 24 hour day is way too short.

I love nature and animals, music and books.  I like crafting for babies but would sooner chew off my own arm than have one.  I dont have a favourite colour though I do believe that yellow is best used sparingly and bright teal is a tool of the devil.  I refuse to acknowledge the existence of neons.   Every time I mention blue or green in my list, I am thinking of brighter, clearer colours as opposed to the navy, forest, khaki ones - think sky blue, apple green, leaf green, light turquoise, etc.  Im allergic to most metals and dont wear much jewelry.  I don't have a sweet tooth but I'm addicted to coffee, gum and potato chips.  I never use a sentence when I can use an entire paragraph and getting a package in the mail is enough to prompt me to gleeful, dorktastically bad dancing.

Thanks in advance to whoever claims me, let me know if I stall.

I claim sunspotted for a crocheted white bath pouf and a bunch 'o supplies!

This is my 2nd claim, allowed 3, 0 sent, 0 received.

Hiya! My name is Mary Ann and I am a Craftsterholic! I live in Portland, OR and am going back to school this month, to start working on a second Bachelor's degree or get some pre-reqs for grad school, still deciding. I have 3 seriously awesome nephews that I love to spoil. I have some skin issues so cant wear much jewelry; necklaces in particular are completely unwearable! My favorite crafts are bath and body, sewing, quilting, and crochet with some random embroidery/cross stitch, jewelry making, and paper crafting thrown in! I like most colors, but especially green, pink, purple, and turquoise. There's a ton of info in my profile too.

The list:

Crafted Items:

-Long style wallet in a neutral color with lots of pockets. (I just received an awesome small wallet, I usually carry two lol)
-Small art to hang on wallany method, I like modern/abstract and nature type pieces. My bathroom and bedroom are decorated in light pine colored wood, sage green, lavender, and black
-Sturdy sided clutch purse/wristlet (not floppy lol)
-Journal
-Simple-ish decorated hair barrettes or clips or elastics or bobby pins
-Small calender, monthly or weekly. I could use two actually, one purse size (5x7ish??) and one more like 8x11ish to have next to my desk.
-I love high heels! A little high heel ornament or piece of art work for the wall would be awesome
-A nice supply of greetings cards--mostly birthday and simple, blank cards. Some kids themed ones would be cool too
-a lightweight scarf in a smooth material..jersey-ish? something like this~http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=30690563&ref=cat2_list_14 a neutral tan or light pink or cream
-crocheted motifs or granny squares in jewel tones (purple, emerald, sapphire, bright pink, scarlet)
-Wall art for my sil, she loves photography of wildflowers and tulips and whatnot, pretty landscapes
-an ipod cozy for a video ipod...it's an older one, I can link to dimensions if needed.
-a really loosely knit scarf with drop stitches (is that what they're called??) likes this~ http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=26465044&ref=cat2_list_2
BIg Wish!-I would love an Amy Butler Weekender pattern

Crafted Kids stuff for my nephews:

They all love pirate stuff! D is 5 and likes teenage mutant ninja turtles, super heroes, and Ben 10. A is 4 and likes trucks, cars, motorcycles, and Thomas the tank engine. T is 16 months and likes cars, small containers with lids,  and making messes. Clothing sizes are  5T, 4T, and 18 mo or 2T

-Toys!
-craft kits, they like to paint, put things together, etc.
-puzzles
-stenciled t-shirts (animals, trucks, their interests, bugs, dinosaurs)
-pajamas
-wooden or paper mache objects to paint (little birdhouses, boxes, etc)
-anything else your kids of similar ages like, or that you think my little monsters might like!
-cat toys for my nephews' kittens
-something pretty and crafty to help organize my craft room...small containers or organizers. I don't really have a theme or color scheme in there, but the carpet is dark green, the curtains are sage green, and I plan to add some lavender/purple

Craft Supplies:

-Unusually shaped silicone ice cube trays to use as soap molds (ikea and dollar stores are great for these)
-Cotton fabric, especially if its Moda (drool!)
-Thomas the Tank enginc fabric
-Unusual buttons and large buttons (nickle sized or bigger!)
-Fancy fabric for skirts (probably would need 2 yards?) Something a little heavy-ish since it's getting cold
-Patterns for nifty knitter knitting
-Soft Grip crochet hooks, I think Clover brand? I really could use G and H
-Fun, simple-ish quilt patterns
-Craft Books, especially paper crafts or quilting. I have a list of books I already own that I can list
-Paperback books with fun covers to make into wallets (or just the covers, you dont have to send the bookunless I might want to read it! Lol)
-Some of those thin flour sack towels to embroider on.
-A large embroidery hoop or one of those snap frames (I only have a 6 inch hoop I think)
-Sublime Stiching embroidery patterns, used is fine! I would especially love Sexy Librarians, Vital Organs, Dutch-Russian, Forest Friends, Dress Up, Flower Power, Craftopia, Zombies and Monsters, Pirates Ahoy, or Spaced Out
-a needle felting kit (I already have a ton of fiber, so basically the needles and directions)

Wisty Surprises are always welcome too!
http://www.wists.com/maremare312

Extras:
Chocolate (especially with nuts!) is always welcome!
Pop Rocks!
Peppermint tea
Loose tea, any kind
Pez candy refills for the boys (or new dispensers)

I claim pinkleo for a variety of items from her list!

This is my 1st claim, 0 sent, 0 in transit, 0 received.

I'm an ABD grad student in art history, 33, living in North Carolina.  I knit, sew, and am new to embroidery.  My aesthetic is very minimal--I try to surround myself with simple, beautiful, natural things.  William Morris said it best:  Have nothing in your house that you do not know to be useful, or believe to be beautiful.  I love natural colors and materials, especially organic and sustainable, and various shades of grey, blue, green, and brown (and lovely clear red).  I'm also wearing a lot of orange this season--bright, clear oranges (more red than yellow).

Here's my wishlist.  I also have a huge list of wists.  Thank you!
