I claim mcook72677 for leg warmers for her daughter & burp cloths for her son! Smiley

2nd claim, 0 sent, 0 received

My name is Sarah, I live in Chicago, IL, & as my username says, I'm a stay-at-home mom. I used to be a lawyer & will be again.. someday. I have no allergies (but I REALLY dislike cigarette smoke!) & we have 2 dogs (a rescued lab mix & a terrier mutt). I have a son, Cooper, who will be 2 in October & I'm pregnant with a boy that is due in October. My taste is pretty eclectic (just to give you an idea - our bedroom is red, dining room is orange, son's room has a Dr. Seuss mural, & living room is a failed attempt at an orange/yellow faux finish that wound up looking like you're in the middle of a bonfire, but it's growing on me). I love bright colors, and orange is my favorite. There aren't really any colors I don't like. I'm not really big on jewelry... I think it's pretty but I just don't wear it (I will wear small post earrings & anklets). I'm pretty open to anything (& not easily offended). I have more info on my profile & you can always check out my blog, wist, or etsy shop. I'm fine with used (quality) items or upcycled/repurposed items. I love batik fabric, whimsical designs (think Mad Hatter) & Dr. Seuss!
Also, I update my wist constantly so theres always new stuff on there.

CRAFTS

NEW! * slippers like this (not necessarily those colors) with non-skid bottoms for when I'm in the hospital for delivery.

NEW! * deep v-neck shirts or sweaters/sweatshirts - I love them for breastfeeding. I wear a tank underneath & it's easier & provides more coverage than traditional nursing clothing.

NEW! * Boots like this or this (but with a sole that can be worn outdoors). Darker colors are better, but I'm pretty open to any color.

* Educational/learning toys for my almost-2-year-old son. He's really into the alphabet, colors, & numbers now. Busy toys for the car are great!

* Car organizer

* Thread catcher

* Small planner (no larger than 4x5) that I can carry in a diaper bag. Could be paper craft, fabric covered, or whatever, just so long as its a little durable.

* Totally super huge obnoxious wish: Painted, drawn-on, tye-dyed, bleached, or otherwise embellished/decorated Converse All-Stars - Im totally fine with used Converse & I wear a size 7 (9 in womens, but 7 in Converse). Pretty much any creative design would be great, but if it was Dr. Seuss related Id probably pee in my pants from excitement.

* Angel wings like these that I can attach to my Moby wrap (preferably with Velcro or snaps)

* cloth diapers - pocket or AIO. Id like smalls (not newborn) because Id like to cloth diaper my new baby (although Ill probably wimp out & use disposables for the first few weeks) & we only have mediums because we didnt start with cloth until my son was in a medium. Preferably gender neutral, but boy colors/designs would be okay too.

* small (diaper) bag (maybe 12 by 15-ish or something) with pockets; maybe even an external pocket or two on the sides for a sippy cup or bottle of water. Backpack or messenger bag so its easy to carry everywhere.

* Something (maybe a throw pillow?) commemorating one of the most important rules my husband & I have in our marriage: "The Rule Of Specific Examples" (basically, we agree that it's difficult to think of specific examples so if in an argument you make a complaint but can't back it up with a specific example then you invoke "the rule of specific examples" & the other can't hold it against you).

* Baby clothes (boy) - anything cute. Ska/punk stuff is great.

* Big brother, little brother shirts - I think these are cute. I'm fine with anything & creative stuff is great - thanks bsonlytoots! Smiley

* Play silks - thanks rlynn! My son loves these so I'd love more! Smiley

* Toddler busy book

* Embroidered or painted cloth diapers (pocket or AIO, preferably small or medium, but well probably use any size). Some examples here and here

* Soap - I dont like patchouli, vanilla, or coffee, but pretty much anything else (fruity or otherwise) is great.

* A surprise (wisty or something Id like)

SUPPLIES

* snap press (used is fine!)

* furry or fuzzy fabric Thanks 1boy1girl1kitty2! Smiley

* elastic (any size or type) - thanks sunspotted! Smiley

* fabric - I like bright colors & interesting prints. Amy Butler & Michael Miller type stuff is always great. I love batiks.

* zippers

* velcro (preferably white & soft) - thanks sunspotted! Smiley

* polymer clay rolling pin (used is fine!) thanks rlynn! Smiley

* ribbon

* bias tape maker (used is fine!)

* minky fabric - preferably boy or gender neutral colors/designs

EXTRAS

* used or thrift clothing with fabric I can use (interesting  prints or textures)
* fabric scraps
* knee high socks in stripes or interesting colors/prints
* fun lunch/food items - squiggly straws, fun shaped sandwich cutters, popsicle molds, cookie cutters, etc.

Thanks! Smiley

Im Marion and I live in Ontario Canada. Married to Drake and we have two beautiful children and two fur babies, one cat, one dog. I like bright, bold, earth and jewel tone colors. I have a very strong dislike of pastels or weak colors. I find wool really itchy and Im allergic to mohair. Ive been slowly turning the family greener and more earth friendly. We recycle everything we can and I make my own laundry soap and only clean with vinegar, baking soda and tea tree oil. I enjoy many different things. Our family room is all dragons, gargoyles and pictures of the kids. Our bedroom is done in deep reds black and hardly anything on the walls. Sons room is a combination of Thomas the Train and car things. Daughters room is off white with pink and blue accents and cute bugs. I dont wear jewelry as I have two small kids so they tend to pull at things so Im always worried something will be broken and then put in small mouths. I also tend to be a stay at home kind of person, partly Im really shy until I get to know someone and partly because of my sons health. I also tend to ramble when trying to talk about myself!

Wish List

Crafts

Metal bands on knit.  Making a quilt for DH out of band shirts and need a few more. Painted, stamped or any other creative way of putting names, logos ect of bands on works.

Doll for almost 2 yr old daughter. Any kind is good she loves her babies.

Something to do with Iggle Piggle from In the Night Garden kids TV show. http://images.google.ca/images?hl=en&source=hp&q=iggle+piggle&um=1&ie=UTF-8&ei=RD-RSv-VC43SM7XPhJIK&sa=X&oi=image_result_group&ct=title&resnum=1

Some kind of a toy bird. Son has been asking for a pet bird but we arent in a position to get one so hoping a toy will solve the problem. Dont mind stuffing once its here.

Snail anything. I love snails and my whole kitchen is decorated with them. Im getting a nice army of small yarn ones.

Headbands or bandanas that will absorb sweat. Im on some meds that make me sweat like crazy and its really annoying to carry around a cloth all the time to wipe it off.

Drop spindle and wool. Just a starter one as I really want to try thins but haven't spun since I was about 6

Supplies:

Yarn any kind is fine as well as scraps. Just as long as I can make a yoyo from whats there.

Transformers, blues clues,  fabric.

Small things to put in resin

Resin molds just about anything will do.

Origami paper, Im teaching myself to do this so any kind is fine.

Bamboo crochet hooks. Any size is fine I do use an I/5.5 one the most.

Fancy stitch markers for crochet

Extras:

Crochet magazines

Flavored teas, nothing fruity or chamomile

Something that you think I might like!

I claim ilovesnails for a toy bird for son, doll for daughter, and some crochet stitch markers.

This is my first claim, allowed 3, 0 sent, 0 received.

Hiya! My name is Mary Ann and I am a Craftsterholic! I live in Portland, OR and am going back to school this month, to start working on a second Bachelor's degree or get some pre-reqs for grad school, still deciding. I have 3 seriously awesome nephews that I love to spoil. I have some skin issues so cant wear much jewelry; necklaces in particular are completely unwearable! My favorite crafts are bath and body, sewing, quilting, and crochet with some random embroidery/cross stitch, jewelry making, and paper crafting thrown in! I like most colors, but especially green, pink, purple, and turquoise. There's a ton of info in my profile too.

The list:

Crafted Items:

-Long style wallet in a fun bright color (but not neon please) with lots of pockets. (I just received an awesome small wallet, I usually carry two lol)
-Small art to hang on wallany method, I like modern/abstract and nature type pieces. My bathroom and bedroom are decorated in light pine colored wood, sage green, lavender, and black
-Sturdy sided clutch purse/wristlet (not floppy lol)
-Journal
-Simple-ish decorated hair barrettes or clips or elastics or bobby pins
-Small calender, monthly or weekly. I could use two actually, one purse size (5x7ish??) and one more like 8x11ish to have next to my desk.

Crafted Kids stuff for my nephews:

They all love pirate stuff! D is 5 and likes teenage mutant ninja turtles, super heroes, and Ben 10. A is 4 and likes trucks, cars, motorcycles, and Thomas the tank engine. T is 16 months and likes cars, small containers with lids,  and making messes. Clothing sizes are  5T, 4T, and 18 mo or 2T

-Toys!
-craft kits, they like to paint, put things together, etc.
-puzzles
-stenciled t-shirts (animals, trucks, their interests, bugs, dinosaurs)
-pajamas
-wooden or paper mache objects to paint (little birdhouses, boxes, etc)
-anything else your kids of similar ages like, or that you think my little monsters might like!

Craft Supplies:

-Unusually shaped silicone ice cube trays to use as soap molds (ikea and dollar stores are great for these)
-Cotton fabric, especially if its Moda (drool!)
-Thomas the Tank enginc fabric
-Fancy fabric for skirts (probably would need 2 yards?) Something a little heavy-ish since it's getting cold
-Patterns for nifty knitter knitting
-Soft Grip crochet hooks, I think Clover brand? I really could use G and H
-Fun, simple-ish quilt patterns
-Craft Books, especially paper crafts or quilting. I have a list of books I already own that I can list
-Paperback books with fun covers to make into wallets (or just the covers, you dont have to send the bookunless I might want to read it! Lol)
-Some of those thin flour sack towels to embroider on.
-A large embroidery hoop or one of those snap frames (I only have a 6 inch hoop I think)
-Sublime Stiching embroidery patterns, used is fine! I would especially love Sexy Librarians, Vital Organs, Dutch-Russian, Forest Friends, Dress Up, Flower Power, Craftopia, Zombies and Monsters, Pirates Ahoy, or Spaced Out

Wisty Surprises are always welcome too!
http://www.wists.com/maremare312

Extras:
Chocolate (especially with nuts!) is always welcome!
Pop Rocks!
Peppermint tea
Loose tea, any kind
Pez candy refills for the boys (or new dispensers)

I claim pinkleo for Handmade Soap, wool felt, beads, origami paper and carving blocks! And maybe an extra or two Smiley

1st claim 0 sent, 0 received.

Hi, I'm new to swapping on craftster, but I've been a lover of crafts and vintage supplies for years. My name is Molly, I'm 23 and engaged. I like to make handcrafted soap, earrings, pocket mirrors, and dabble a little bit with screenprinting, hopefully more in the future. I love bright colors and designs as well as jewel tones and vintage designs. I love all kinds of things crafty and handmade. I don't have a wist, but my favorites on chartreuselily.etsy .com are a good idea of some of the things I like.

Wish List

Crafts:

-Purse/Tote/Bag. All bright/vivid/jewel tone colors, my favorite types of designs are botannicals, vintage, Amy Butler types, even whimsy and a little silly. Also just solid, bright or bold colors. Repurposed material would be super, too! Some examples http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=27917312

http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=30072667

-Any fabric covered headbands. Any design or fabric and any colors but yellow, please!

Please PM me for measurements if one of the following is chosen Smiley

-Tank tops or tees, new or repurposed materials, upcycled, screenprinted, whatever! Just please not a lot of yellow. (Don't get me wrong, I actually love yellow, but wearing it makes me look sallow and washed out!)

-Haramaki/belly bands

-A surprise, I'm easy to please!

Supplies:
Colorful and cute patterned cardstock! Amy Butler types, bright/vivid/pretty/vintage patterns. Preferably 6x6 or 12x12. I am dying to make some pillow boxes to offer as additional super spiffy gift wrap on the local co-op I sell some of my things on.

Focal beads that are earring sized, especially flower beads in this shape and size, or even a bit smaller. All colors

Sterling silver ear wires, all shapes, sizes, types

Oxidized brass or oxidized sterling kidney ear wires

Flat buttons, all shapes, sizes, colors--- no shank, please. New or vintage

Fabric or scrap packs, bright/vivid/vintage designs and patterns.

Button maker

Extras:

Low carb/whole foods/budget type cook books/magazines

DIY or reconstructed clothing books/magazines

Paper/cardstock gift tags

I'm on low carb and trying to use as many whole foods as possible, so baking has been an adventure! I would love cute muffin cups, silicone molds, or a balloon whisk.

Fitted short sleeve or long sleeve tees in good condition for upcycled screen printing. Solid colors, a high enough neckline to be modest and fit an image. Smiley All womens sizes, small through plus.

I clam Moonoverbrooklyn for the DS case!

Second claim, 0 sent, 0 recieved

About me Im a 23yr old single mommy to an awesome 26month old son, Levi.  We live in Florida with my parents and a large dog.  We are vegetarian and try to live green. I love the beach, ocean and we go there often.  When I'm not chasing my toddler, I'm probably sewing!

I dislike: anything TV/movie character related (esp for my son), anything non-vegetarian (like leather, feathers etc), pastel colors, VERY allergic to smoke,

Crafted stuff:

- rain poncho - toddler size

- anything made from 'groovy guitar' fabric (michal miller)

- 2 simple wistlets w/zipper closure - one for me in any fun fabric, and one for my son (he keeps steeling mine) in any non-girly fabric

-newsboy style hat for my son, I will measure his head if I can get him to sit still!

- anything to do with reading or ABC's for my son - he really loves books/reading

-busy book for toddler

-Messenger bag, tote bag w/inner pockets, or back pack for when I start college again not picky on fabrics, something unique but that I can use every day

-Set of 4-6 placemats beach/ocean,  tropical or Florida sorta theme would be good.

-Hudson hats or similar (the knit ones), larger toddler size (boyish colors) or adult size (any colors)

-Embellished or handmade clothes for my son 2T or bigger, he likes animals, ocean stuff, surf boards, swimming, sharks

-Toys/games or other fun stuff for a 2 yr old lots in my wists for examples

-Summer clothing for me tops, skirts, dresses I'm an xs, s I can get measurements if you need them, 32-25-34

-Ocean animal/critter stuffies need to be durable for a 2yr old!  Prefer realistic vs. cartoon like.

-Mint scented bath/beauty products no lotions though please. Thank you mcook72677!

-Set of snapping unpaper towels

-Candy corn theme Halloween costume for me (hot weather friendly)!  I'm already making my son a corn on the cob costume (his choice), so I think it kinda goes - lol

-Halloween costume for a large (female) dog anything goes!  Its for a doggie costume contest.  I can measure her if needed.

-An awesome swimsuit for me can be knit/crochet or sewn.  Must be something I can actually wear in public and preferably actually swim in too!

-Anything Montessori activities, supplies, manipulative etc.  (I know a lot can be handmade, there are some cool things out there!)

-Fish in bags soaps I need a bunch!

-Wooden toys anything!

-Anything from my wists www.wists.com/leighi123   (I also have an ISO list on diaperswappers, same sn as here)

Supplies:
-Novelty beads, buttons, kids beads, little erasers or anything really small that I can use for I-spy bags

-Small plastic animals any animal, ocean life, dinos etc.

-Machine embroidery thread white, black and orange are the main ones I need but I can use variegated ones, and any other colors too!

-Clear thread and elastic thread (for the sewing machine)

-Octtobre magazine any, but summer issues would be best

-Designer fabric any amount

-Kid friendly fabric any kind/amount

-Bottomweight fabric in solid colors, need to be 2yard pieces or bigger

-Batik fabrics any amount

-I can always use any fun sewing supplies and patterns for kids/baby/toddler any size/gender

-Magnets all types, really need some with holes!

-Small findings just about anything like overall buckles, clips, shoelaces, eyelets, buttons, snaps, small zippers, buckles These can be cut off old clothing as well!

-Canned air

-Any type of learn to make it craft kits especially resin casting, soap making, bath/beauty stuff making.

Extras:
Anything minty
Size 6 toddler flip flops w/heel strap I can't find any anywhere!!!!
