The Trek-A-Long

From hard-core fans to the new breed all are welcome as we Trekfans are a lovely bunch!
And a very crafty fanbase it seems.

We would love to see anything
The Original Series
The Animated Series
The Next Generation
Voyager
Deep Space Nine
Enterprise  Huh
And ALL the movies

There have been FOUR...count that....four swaps already and I believe there is already one in the pipeline because we just love all that Gene Roddenberry has created and what JJ. Abrams has beautifully taken on the task to to boldy go  Grin

Here are the links to the Swaps and will be updated in due time when new ones will inevitably spring to life

And how exactly does one craft-a-long? Is it just all crafts on a theme? Because I can post pics of all the stuff that didn't make it into ruby's package that I'm still working on (with a week to go I decided 'I think I'll cross stitch a sampler, and throw that in!')

Yup yup!
That is just about right and I am looking forward to seeing everything.
I think it is just going to be like the Swap discussion with the occasional craft thrown in to show it off to all the trekfans.
I think that is the general gist of a craft-a-long.
Pretty much a stitch-n-b*tch but about all that is Star Trek
 Grin

Oh wow, every one showing off their Trek crafts, this is going to be so awesome! I have lots of year old stuff that I haven't even posted yet, and I also have after-swap crafts of things I copy, finish or those that were intended to go into the swap, but didn't make it and now I have to get them out of the system...

I just thought to get things going.
Its not finished yet but I am making myself a pillow with the Good Ol' Country Doctor on it.
With the quote
"I'm a Doctor, Not A Psychiatrist

BUT
It's slow going at the moment, but you can kind of see it now Grin
What do you think so far?

Is this one of the cross-stitch patterns from the starting post? Wow, it's going to be a great pillow, it makes me want to learn how to do a proper cross-stitch myself... is the quote from the show? Because, technically, a psychiatrist is a doctor too Grin

Indeed it is Ruby Copperhead Grin
I thought that would be the most appropriate quote as I am moving to start Uni to study psychology!

Technically, the original was "Dammit Jim! I'm a surgeon not a psychiatrist!" which I am still debating doing...to keep in true to the series. I'm not sure to do it or the "I'm a doctor..." as it would make more sense to non trekfans...hmmmm

Okay, well, here's my first contribution - my very nearly finished mural in my second bedroom. I've left the bookcase in for scale

The letters are perfect, because I cut them out from stick on vinyl, but the logo itself still needs work. I really need to finish this.
