I would organize it, but I'm organizing for the first time with the Belly Dance Swap, and because of that I can only do the one for now.  Tongue I can help with the card swap or something since I used to co-organize that when we ran it for last year's Yule and Ostara.

I don't feel like I have enough swap experience to be organizer,  but I would alos be more than willing to help in any way.   Smiley

Not to sound like a complete jerk, but perhaps we should focus on finishing THIS round before wondering how to work around the Yule swap.  There are still some unresolved issues, like the fact that Ffrog STILL hasn't gotten the rest of her swap package that missmuffcake promised to mail out well over a week ago.  First things first ladies, remember how it works, we always take care of our own, and I for one would not feel right if we all walked away from the fact that Ffrog didn't get a package that at least met the MINIMUM requirements of the swap.

I completely understand that a lot of people have been sick and that there are forces at work that have hindered many people from finishing up in a timely manner, but lack of communication and neglecting ones duty is not an excuse in my opinion.  Let's get all the crafting, mailing, and posting of goodies from this round get resolved before we start up another round.

Just my two cents worth.

I had actually asked Ronda if a Swap Angel was needed offlist, but she's been sick.

I am more than happy to help if one is needed.

That's great!  I too offered to help out, but first we need to hear from missmuffcake to see if she has any intention of completing or if she's gonna pass it off.  She has a great record for past swaps and I don't want to slam her and say she's a lousy swapper when she has the same factors working against her that the rest of us do.  Since she hasn't been on this site for several days BUT she has been active on her myspace page and those of her friends (yes, I went and checked), I'd have to say she does have internet access and is able to communicate with others offsite...so lets see if she intends to communicate with those here as well.  If she doesn't wish to complete the job then we can figure out an angel for Ffrog.  Even if we all do a little bit it will add up to a decent package.

Does this sound logical to y'all?

It'd be great if we could please keep this discussion cordial. Hopefully Ffrog hear will hear from missmuffcake soon.

Ffrog & RondaS, just shoot me a PM or open a helpdesk ticket if you need any assistance. Smiley

Yeah, I agree. We need to get things all sorted and take care of our current swappers before we get into another round. I am also up for angel-ing for Ffrog if need be.

Plus, if the Yule swap does start late, we can still do a swap for it, only make it have a smaller item requirement. OTWT "One tiny Witchy Thing" anyone?  Grin

You guys are awesome!  I appreciate everyone wanting to help out with the possibility of angeling me so I get a full package.  I haven't heard anything from MissMuffCake in over a week now.  Undecided  So I have no idea what's going on with her.  Very frustrating.  I don't suppose we'd actually call it an angel package seeing as I got a package in the first place but the one I received was very incomplete.  I know Rhonda's been busy and sick so I'm not sure where to go on that idea (angel/additional package thingy) from here.

Saturn - I would totally be up for an OTWT swap!  One tiny witchy thing would be awesome!  Cheesy  I have done any of the OTT swaps...  just how tiny is tiny?  Cheesy

Usually they mean something around the size of a coin purse or a pair of earrings. But the item should be very detailed and showcase all your mad skillz. For instance if you went with a coin purse, it should have another element to it like embroidery, bead work, silk screening, etc.
