That is definitely the cutest dress I've ever seen. I've been hunting for a nice dress like that for ages. Too bad I'm not skilled enough to make it. Great job. I love the pockets.

I absolutely love your dress!  I hope you don't mind if I steal your pattern...kinda.  Several months ago I got this awesome black cherry fabric and contrasting red cherry fabric.  I've been pounding my head against a wall thinking of what I could do with it.  Anyway, your dress is perfect.  It was exactly what I wanted to do mine.  Thank you.  You're awesome.

i absolutely love your dress as well. i want to make a nice summery dress too. unfortunately i'm without my sewing machine *gasp!* and i'm going through withdrawl.... didn't bring any crochet hooks either, lol. Smiley kudos for working without a pattern / making your own!

Dresses from the 50s are so feminine and really show off curves. Now I know what I want to do with that special piece of material I have had for several years. Just waiting for the right pattern.
