So me and my other half moved into our flat 6 months ago, and since then have both been sharing the back wall of the living room for our creative hoo-haa.
He makes music and I obviously do alot of crafting, so its been a mish mash of thread, yarn, wiring and stepping on each other toes.
This is his space finished. My machine used to be on the desk but its now his. We attached the speakers to the perfectly positioned CD racks by just putting in a couple of nails into the back on them and they hook on.
All the other furniture there was found on the street or collected from freecycle users. That chair is soooo comfortable.

After alot of thinking I finally managed to get together a space that works well and looks nice.
I had some tall wooden shelves, y'know - the cheap wobbly kind by our bed, and a wardrobe the other side of the bedroom.
So I chopped the shelves in half and swapped places with the wardrobe.
The little pocket pouch belongs to the wardrobe but its new position meant it lay flat up against the wall - useless, so it now holds scissors. bobbins and such like.
The chair was found on the street - I just re-upholstered it.

And I didn't spend a penny
