FIRST PROJECT POST!  YAY!

So I wanted to crochet something for my little one who is due in 5 weeks, and I decided to make a blanket, mostly because I felt like making a blanket but didn't want to make a really huge one.  I found a fairly easy granny square-ish pattern on the Lion Brand website, only they wanted me to switch colors EVERY round, which I thought was more work than I really wanted to do.  I wanted a nice project I could just pick up and do without thinking too much about, and it was really nice and soothing for me, and helped with my anxiety.  I bought a REALLY REALLY big ball of variegated super fuzzy yarn and got to work!

Apparently the best picture I took was slightly too big for craftster's photo hosting, so you'll have to settle for these not so great ones Cheesy

My hubby said his feet were cold, and he didn't want to hold it up for me, so here's my mini scale shot

I also tried to hold it up on my pregnant belly, but I didn't realize how hard it is to take a photo of yourself (makes sense why I don't have more photos of myself)

I think the coloring on the yarn came out really well, it makes nice squares and things with very little effort on my part Cheesy
