*Is excited!* I love your pictures sheepBlue - very fairytale-esque. I was reading fairy tales to my boys last night - including a particularly creepy Russian one with a talking doll (with eyes that glow in the dark) and a skull (also with glowing eyes) that bounced after the wicked Stepmother and Stepsisters!
which one is that? sounds great! i love fairytales too, but especially the dark ones Wink

It was called Vasilissa Most Lovely. It starts off as essentially Cinderella, but the dying mother gives her daughter a magic doll. Whenever Vasilissa feeds the doll it will give her advice and magically cause all her chores to be done. The Stepmother tries to get rid of Vasilissa by sending her to Baba Yaga (who has a fence made of human bones with skulls on the top). Vassilissa is too pure for Baba Yaga to eat, so she sends her home with a glowing skull, which chases the Stepmother and Stepsisters, reputedly back to Baba Yaga to be eaten!

It was in a book called Folk and Fairy Tales collected by Ruth Manning-Sanders. The tales are from all over the world so they're enjoyably random.
