I just grab a bunch of the customs forms and keep them at home, so I can fill them out before I go in to the post.

welcome sheepBlue!  For those of you sitting out this round (and good luck with that eh) remember that your claims from last round need to arrive before I close out the swap in your profile.  a little note would be swell, then I'll make sure I'm all over it like lint on a black dress.

AQ, I'm happy to report that the honey-do list is 3/4 done, though to be fair I didn't leave a very long one.  and apparently I'm the only person who knows the magic of the vacuum cleaner, which has kind of totally ruined my hippie zen state of the past few days.  I get a couple more days with the fella, he leaves for Russia again on Friday, likely for a couple of months.  He stepped up his shopping game this time, not only did I get a Russian chocolate bar but he picked up some really fabulous icons from the church and 3 antique russian books.  but 2 of them appear to be some kind of holy book and the kid has already pointed out that they were around since Stalin so I'm thinking they are safe from the scissors.  so I'm still looking for Russian text  I also got some cans of fish I think (I collect colourful food cans from other countries but these are not so much)  and I found a pile of 10 ruble notes and some change if anyone is interested.

I'm away tomorrow during the day getting my son and all his stuff back to university.  But will be back tomorrow night to catch up on everyone's signups

AM, I'm glad to hear your hubby is back to crafty-husband status.   If you decide you have extras of the money, I'd happily claim them. And the religious icons sound cool - if and when you do something with them, I'd love to see it!

sheepBlue, I'm glad I convinced you to join! For anyone who hasn't seen her work, she rocks! She does great mixed media artwork and amazing polymer stuff (and lots of other stuff, but that's what stands out in my mind). Can't wait to see your shop - I know I'll be claiming from you!

that's so F'd up about the customs forms, why would they want to make the process more difficult? really sorry all of you, if socal wasn't so hot and full of idiots, i'd move back (that last statement excludes any STS peeps in socal of course!)

Hehe, I'm blushing. I just hope my shop lives up to your expectations  I'll be posting it later today (after a 3 hour dentist appointment  ) and will be steadily adding to it throughout the next week or so (AQ - I wanna make more of those dotee dolls - I am truly hooked now that I've given them away, I want more LOL).

Also just thought I'd throw this out there, but I'd love to claim some shawls, lacy, silky, whatever. I'm determined to do my xmas shopping from you guys  And I know my bf's mother, and my mother would love it! You guys are awesome.
