I'm glad you mentioned that pw, because I'll be sending fabric to gavagai and I hate filling those forms out at the post office. (I always see people walking ahead of me -as they should - and it drives me nuts.)

Arg... I have to go to the PO Tuesday to ship packages internationally... now I will dread it even more... it must've have been a pretty recent change since I sent something like 2 weeks ago and the green form was fine... though the package may have been less than a pound.

Finished the Bombay Love baby sweater... there's a camera phone picture of it here http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=638119&l=9ff6904a5c&id=1275160658 if you want a sneak peak... I think it turned out really cute... no buttons yet though.

I'm hopefully going to be dipping my toes in the STS this round. I sent in my questionnaire and I'm working on setting up shop. Please forgive me any newbie faux pas. I like to figure things out as I go  Grin Providing that I get the go-ahead I should be posting my brand-spanking-new shop up tomorrow  Wink

welcome to the group sheepBlue!
Well since my question was right at the end of the last thread. Anyone have any special requests for bags? I'm going to be removing the messengers from my shop this round except for those who have all ready contacted me through pm's. But I'd like to play with some other styles. So if you have seen any tuts recently and want a bag made I'm your girl!

The messengers have just gotten too expensive for me to continue at this point. Though I'm checking into some bulk findings and things and that could change in the future.

Does this mean no more claims on STS 29?  I have a custom kind of on hold & was hoping to sit out til November but would like to send to her...and then of course I'd like to spend those points to even me out at 3.

I try to get out, but they keep dragging me back in...

BTW loudxmouse & alteredmommy- I found the bluebirdy!!!  I didn't realize it was in the scarf.  It is now perched on a clock in my guest bedroom.

Oh and BTBTW, I found my spring/summer 2005 issue of Vogue Knitting if, you know, anyone feels like making me a scarf.   Grin  I can scan the patterns.

And BTBTBTW (swear this is the last one) - calluna - you live over on the Peninsula right?  Do you ever find yourself in Santa Cruz?  Reason I ask is there is a cute quilt store that sells online but they only sell 1 yard increments.  I'm v interested in some retro styled Christmas cotton prints, but I was wanting more like 1/4 yard increments.  Wasn't sure if they offered smaller cuts but if they did & you were over there, I'd spend points on them.  Alas, I am no longer in Nor Cal & my friends/sister are in the East Bay & wouldn't stray to SC.   Roll Eyes  LOVE the cats & birds...

yay! found birdy!!!

AQ-- i always run and grab the forms and maniacally fill them out balanced on top of my packages. this is good because a) you don't lose your spot and b) you look bloody crazy! no one will cut in line if you are standing on one leg, package under one arm, using a bubble envelope as a clipboard.
