I made this to be a companion for first cross-stitch, the NSFW one. ;-) http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=312198.msg3587824#msg3587824

In that thread, I got a lot of great ideas from other Craftsters about including a shotgun and rocking chairs and Gran Torino love. So I googled what gun Clint Eastwood used in the movie and used knitpro to graph it and the shilhouette of a rocking chair, graphed it all up with my wording and then bumped Gran Torino to the top of my Netflix queue. I had it mostly done by the time we got to watch the movie, and as it ended, I was hanging this bad boy up. Smiley It's just above our lamp, by the windows that look over the front of the apartment complex, and not a lot of people really notice it. Tongue But that's okay with me.







I wish I'd thought to get a picture of the back of the piece, because it was much cleaner than my first one! I thought about putting an argyle border around it, but it wouldn't have fit in the frame, and I thought that Walt would agree that the simplicity is nice. Cheesy

Really well done! 

I love the way that one came out.  I've been thinking of doing something similar with some of the dialog from the part when Walt picks Sue up and confronts some of the gang bangers with a 1911 and an old Ford truck in the background.  I just need to get the DVD back from the fiance's brother who still hasn't watched it yet so I can snag the quote I want.  Cheesy
