Yay!!  I mailed my package out today.  Now comes the long wait.

I also had to mail a package of fudge to a friend today, and this is the conversation at the PO.

me: Hi, I'd like to mail these packages.
PO worker:  Anything fragile, perishable or potentially hazardous?
me:  It's chocolate
PO worker:  Oh, potentially hazardous.

I just love a postal worker with a sense of humor. Cheesy

Baby is here - at long last!!

I have four medium/large items complete and five store-bought items for my package to dreadlocklove.  I'm not entirely sure how to classify the things I have done...I'm sure that one is a medium, one could actually be a small based on how quick it was, but one is probably a large according to the guidelines.  Good thing this isn't a point based swap!!  I'd be so confused as to how to count them up. Smiley  I have one large item to work on and I can't work on it until I have one specific supply.  Hopefully hubby will have the day off tomorrow so I can hit the craft store.

Baby number four is here and he's a boy!!  Time to start using all the great stuff I got from a bunch of Craftster friends:

I think I'm finally done, although I feel a bit odd that the box ended up about 2/3 full of extras.  (Well, it's a flat rate box... I had to fill it up, didn't I?)

I also kept trying to do "one last thing" and then not being able to find the supplies I knew I had somewhere.  So I ended up making about four things from my (quite long) original list, and then subbing in a bunch of others.  I guess that makes it a better surprise for Melissa, at least.

Swap anxiety always sets in the minute you mail your package.  I am always asking myself the same questions.  Is it good enough?  Will my partner like it?  What was I thinking? Cheesy

I'm really excited for the extension. I've had the flu like it's nobody's business, and I don't want to send germies with my package. (Is that even possible?) There were a few days I felt so awful I couldn't even watch tv, let alone craft. I'm feeling so much better now, and I've got some kick ass crafts going and a pretty rocking how-to kit.

I hope everyone else is staying healthy!!
