Hi.

I decided to try making a kusudama ball with my mom.

Here's where I got the tutorial from
http://furnitureredesign.com/2009/04/pretty-kusudama-tutorial-origami-modular-ball

and a closeup

Sorry, the image quality is not very good, I don't have a working camera so I had to use my webcam.

Wow! Very intricate!  It almost looks like looking at a pollen spore etc through a microscope.

Oh, I like those.  I'm having an impossible time doing the bouquet thing for my wedding (you know how much those things cost?!), but these are pretty awesome.  I really like how you did the tone on tone.

Maybe I'll do this.  How long did it take you?

Oh my gosh! I love it! It reminds me of a sweet gum seed pod.  If you don't mind me asking, do you remember the size of the paper squares you used? I'd love to make one like it, but smaller.

Thanks! They're 9cm squares. Pretty convenient for me since the white paper was the kind of note paper that comes in boxes.

Thanks! I think it took me 2 days, but with help from my mom.

Very nice, that would also look great on top of a Christmas tree.

There are several crafts you can do with paper shredder shreds, use it to stuff your creations or for paper dolls...
