Anyone tried a Facebook Ad? I guess you pay each time someone clicks on your link? I'm thinking of doing one so any advice would be appreciated. I don't have many friends & I slowly learning how to get around, but I just thought an ad might be something to try. Don't know if there is a potential for it to be spendy. Thanks.

Facebook ads can be very spendy for a small craft budget. Most people spend like $5 a day and depending on your bid value you may not get very many clicks for that cost.

But! If you join the Visa Business Network on facebook, you can receive a free $100 of advertising credit on facebook. It's great! So definitely check that out if you are still thinking of advertising on facebook.

Good luck!

Thanks for your response endless. I've kinda given up on the idea. I figured since no one had anything good to say about it, then it must not be worth it. I did think that it could be a bit spendy.

I placed an ad on Facebook for 24 hours.  It was shown over 13k times, and I got 9 clicks...   Cry  Needless to say, no sales.  I thought my ad was eye-catching and funny, but honestly, I don't see the point...

Thanks for your responses. I never did pursue an ad, don't think I will. I did tho figure out how to link my Etsy site to Facebook.
