I love the simplicity of the top, I think it is very elegant! You did an amazing job for a first project. I don't talk about my first sewing project... Great Job!

Pretty awesome for your first time sewing! Took a look at the tutorial and the shirt is especially great for a child when you add the ruffles. I think I have a new project to work on...

That's really cute, and  I love the fabric!  I love shirts like that.  I'm so happy the days of skin tight baby doll tees are behind us!  Smiley  Too bad these weren't "in" when I was in high school.

I'm planning to make a few myself when I can find the time.  I was gonna gather the fabric in the front, but after seeing yours I think I'll go with the pleats instead.  Thanks for sharing it, and congrats on doing such a good job on your first piece of clothing! Smiley

I have that fabric but mine is bluer in the background and I've been trying to figure out how to incorporate it into some clothing. What a cute and great idea!
I really like the neckline of your top and the yellow looks great with it. The pleats are nice and neat. Honestly I wouldn't have any idea it was your first machine sewn clothing item. It looks great!
