As my partner has received in the Star Trek swap, I will post pics of the doll I made her. She has named him DuQwI', (or Spike in Klingon)

He is adapted from a Jean Greenhowe pattern (as was D'Argo who is also in this board somewhere) and took surprisingly little time to do. He is about 18" tall, IIRC, and his hair is made of Phentex, without which I'd be lost. The only thing that he is missing in this picture is his belt buckle. It's not the best picture, but I only took the picture quickly so I could whip together a teaser pic.
I used fiberfill to stuff him, but does anyone know if it is possible to get that stuff in black? I've never seen it, but since it is essentially spun plastic I don't see why it wouldn't be.
Thanks for looking.

I love love love him! He looks so cute, and has a perfect cuddlyness! His hair is totally amazing, no idea what that stuff is, but it certainly makes great hair on a Klingon!
My whole family is fighting over him, everyone wants to steal or borrow him.

Here is a picture of belt and jacket details:

And here he is, patrolling the garden. We have a snail problem, so he can stay on a Klingon diet and save our garden at the same time Grin

I don't know about black polyfill - I need to dye some clothes soon, I can try if the filling takes the color, I think it should, as store-bought dye dyes almost everything, but I have had black stuff where the seams stayed white, so no guarantee. If it dyes, how many kg of black filling do you need? Haha, I just want to boast about my 15kg of polyfill that I have! Anyone else interested? Grin

Thanks, Ruby, for posting the good pictures. The only one I had was when I was taking pictures for teaser purposes.
